I think it helps to understand the process of beveling in sketchup without extensions to enable you to learn the capabilities of sketchup, i think in some ways extensions breed in weakness in modelling
do you think Sketchup will ever bring vertex modelling into the program as at the moment sketchup is face and line/edge heavy modelling
Scale is a big thing in interior design as playing with interior The relationship between the size of objects and the size of a space. Playing with scale can create visual interest.
without making sketch to BIM like i guess it would be cool to see furniture snap to a realistic scale/ proportion in relation to the default human model

2moYou might consider reintroducing the sideboard and changing the door color to white, along with adding a white panel on the wall where the TV will be mounted. This panel should match the door color to create a contrast.
