A message from our founder When I founded Ski Bum, the vision was more than a clothing brand. I wanted to create a community focused on empowering sustainable living practices and consuming quality over quantity. I knew creating this extremely eco-conscious brand would be no easy task, but I believe in our mission and know we are doing something incredible. We have partnered with Tishwish to provide compostable poly mailers; they are made from corn and will break down in 3-6 months when placed in the soil. Our hang tags are known as "plantable see tags." After consumers receive the product, they can plant the tag in their garden and watch flowers spring from their purchase. We manufacture in Los Angeles, California, and only ship within the United States, reducing our carbon footprint. We have not mass-produced our products and have an active waitlist that allows us to produce what is in demand, preventing waste. We use only organic and recycled materials, helping reduce the fashion industry's impact on our environment each year. Last but certainly not least, we donate 15% of all profits to Protect Our Winters, a non-profit founded by Jeremy Jones, a professional snowboarder. Protect Our Winters has helped mobilize the snow sports community on climate issues.  Ski Bum hopes to expand our efforts within our communities in the coming months as we develop a more extensive network of individuals who share our vision.  As the founder, I look forward to seeing what this company can do. We want to partner with like-minded individuals this winter and drive change; if you feel that could be you, let's connect!  #sustainablefashion #ecofashion #ecofriendlyfashion #sustainable #connecting #protectourplanet #protectourenvironment #founder #sustainablebusiness #founderlife
