Bridges—our favorite way of traversing towns. From city centers to campuses, airports, and overpasses, we design structures that elevate the pedestrian experience, keep streets safe, and bring new connections to communities worldwide. 📸 Images: 1. I worked on the landscape design as part of TGDA, for the BP Pedestrian Bridge, Millennium Park and the Pre-Maggie Daley Park landings. I used to love walking over the structure, through the various parts of construction to completion. Such an interesting element to the park to watch construct. Though there were so many wonderful elements in the park to view via construction to completion.
Beautifully stated! Bridges do more than connect places—they enhance safety, accessibility, and community connection. It's inspiring to see how thoughtful design can transform our urban landscapes. Kudos to all the visionaries and builders!
What a fantastic showcase of bridge designs! These structures not only enhance pedestrian experiences but also connect communities in meaningful ways. Stunning work!

1moResidual parkland further scarred by attempting to build its way out of car-centric planning. Remarkable.
