One of the city's main high-rise buildings, the Schuylkill, is undergoing a redesign by Zaha Hadid Architects. They will add new raised levels which will create continuity on all facades and integrate local vegetation through a bioclimatic approach. The aim? Creating spaces that are aesthetically pleasing while also bringing joy and well-being to their residents and impressively improving the carbon footprint of this impactful building. This project, led by the belief that architecture should be a source of both comfort and delight, echoes Zaha Hadid's visionary approach.
