3 Design Principles Every Graphic Designer Needs Imagine walking into a messy room. It's hard to focus on anything, right? Graphic design is similar. Strong visuals guide your viewers' eyes and deliver your message clearly. But how do you achieve that? Here are top 3 essential design principles to grab attention and make your creations shine: 👉 Balance: Arrange elements like furniture in a room. Imagine a weight for each element. Distribute them evenly for a stable, pleasing look. 👉 Contrast: Make key elements stand out. Think bold colors or contrasting sizes, like a spotlight on a stage. 👉 Hierarchy: Guide the eye. Use size, color, and placement to show what's most important, like a headline in a newspaper. These are just a taste! Mastering these principles will transform your designs from good to great. Stay tuned for more design tips to make your visuals sing! #entrepreneurship #entrepreneurs #linkedin #graphicdesigner #graphicdesign #startups

🏛 Architect & Passionate Interior Designer 🚀Co-founder |Euphoria Design Lab, Gurugram| ✨Transforming Residential & Commercial spaces ✍️ Design Content Writer at Happho
What I've learned in the first 3 months of starting my own practice, Euphoria Design Lab in architecture and interior design: 1. Entrepreneurship is not as easy as it looks on social media. The challenges behind the scenes are real. 2. Things rarely go as planned, and flexibility is essential to keep projects moving forward. 3. Be prepared for the financial unpredictability. There may be months where no revenue comes in, which is quite different from the security of a job. 4. Trusting one vendor blindly can be risky. Always take quotes from multiple vendors and choose wisely. 5. Extensive market research and surveys are crucial before starting any project. This groundwork makes a huge difference. 6. Budgeting and sales are key. If you can manage a project within the client's budget while still making a profit, you're on the right track. 7. Don’t judge people based on their social media presence. Many professionals are busy with selections, meetings, and site visits, leaving little time for social media unless they hire help. Euphoria Design Lab ✨Let me know if you agree with this too, as a young entrepreneur, and share your journey too in the comments? ✨

never look at a designing work as an expenditure. be it your website design, social media posts, sales collaterals, product packaging or even your office interiors. good designs add value to your business faster than they add costs. as a business owner, take some time out to spend with your designers. let them understand your business objectives (of course, other than just sales). #design #designer #GraphicDesign #webdesign #officedesign #package #businessowner #businessgrowth #business #entrepreneur #businessman #businessmindset #entrepreneurship

Diseñador Industrial Senior en arquitectura efímera, tabaco y arte. Experto en Marketing Communications.
Industrial Designers: Entrepreneurs of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow We industrial designers are the entrepreneurs of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Thanks to our training, we have the ability not just to work typical nine-to-five jobs, but to create innovative businesses as well. We weren't just taught the basics; we gained a deep understanding of how to build businesses from scratch, stepping out of our comfort zones to chase dreams that sometimes seem out of reach. Throughout history, we've seen how major design companies have achieved remarkable success through their mastery of creativity, innovation, and all the skills we've learned in our professional journey. These insights come from both academic and hands-on experience. I've had the chance to experience both sides of the coin. Through this journey, I've learned that beyond knowledge, what truly matters is tenacity, persistence, and the drive to move forward. It's about building a better society and country by creating jobs and leading by example. We apply our expertise in processes to provide excellent service to our clients. I've seen many of my fellow designers face setbacks, not because of a lack of education or motivation, but due to a lack of opportunities. Being an entrepreneur is a complex mix of knowledge, opportunity, and luck. When these three align, success comes from hard work and effort. I've had employees who have gone on to become successful business owners and leaders. This shows that companies started by industrial designers can serve as platforms for new businesses that create more jobs. It's crucial for large companies to trust and support the creativity of design firms. We’re not just creators of lightweight products or temporary architecture. We have the ability to design solutions for society and tackle any kind of problem. All we need is the confidence and support of big companies to help our small businesses grow and thrive.

When it is understood that design exists because its importance is fundamental to the success of everything that can be created, we will be able to sit down and talk with expectations, and of course it will be valued as such and that will translate into better profits.
