Ever given feedback and felt like it just didn’t stick? Communication slip-ups often happen when feedback is left too open-ended. Adding a time frame can make all the difference. Instead of: "Let’s work on this," say, "Let’s work on this next Thursday at 10 am. We’ll go through what you’ve done, and together, we’ll get it right." It’s like adding a mini-deadline to your communication – it gives people a sense of direction and can influence them in the most appropriate way. Let’s make it happen! What’s one thing you can put a time around this week? #TimeFrameTips #FeedbackSkills"

Fundamentally, communication must be a platform for sharing. Now, there are power dynamics in relationships between humans but for effective communication to take place, one must be willing to share power. How is this playing out in your workplace? Ask yourself: 🖱️Are you willing to listen more than you speak? 🖱️Do you empower others to share their ideas and perspectives? 🖱️Are you open to feedback and constructive criticism irrespective of whom is giving it? When you answer these, read the opening paragraph again. #HealthyCommunication #WorkplaceCulture #TeamBuilding
