Social proof is more important than ever. If influencers aren't interested in your product that's a problem. It could mean you have the wrong product market fit. If you are having trouble finding ambassadors or influencers to work with, you might have to better explain the value of the product you are delivering. Have you worked with influencers or content creators for your apparel brand?

Tip from a Social Media Strategist: Partner with Influencers & Micro-Influencers 🤝 Collaborate with influencers, even micro-influencers, who align with your brand values. They don’t need millions of followers — a smaller, engaged audience can drive significant results and help you tap into new communities. 🔗

Here’s a story of influencers and sales. Many times influencers have buzzing posts which gets lots of views but it doesn’t result in sales and not only sales, but even further interest beyond the buzzing post.
Do influencers actually drive sales? 🤔 Mmm, Influencers are GREAT at driving awareness. They have the following, the views, high engagement, and authentic connections. But does it really result in their audience buying into the product though? 🤔 In my experience, I’ve seen firsthand how some influencers are masters at creating buzz, while others can truly drive sales. Partnering with the right influencers can completely change a campaign and help reach sales quotas over $200k. 📈 In your future campaign plannings, remember to factor in ✨both✨an influencer’s reach and their ability to convert.

Does huge follower count matter in influencer marketing? If all you need is sales and a niche target audience, nano, and micro-influencers are better. Does this mean big influencers aren't needed? They are important. But it's psychological in the sense that, as a big-time influencer, more followers = more money. This means that their pricing will increase according to their follower count which is not a good metric to determine pricing. Lesson. If you need sales, go for nanao, micro and macro influencers. If you have the biggest buget, need mass engagement and brand awareness, go for mega influencers. You probably won’t hit endless sales or signups from every influencer but they are valuable traffic sources for your business. Do you need help with choosing influencers to work with? Paying big bucks to influencers often isn’t ROI positive, especially when looking at customer lifetime value. But working with micro or nano influencers on a rev share deal? 👉 That’s where the profit is. They work harder because they’ve got more to prove, and it’s a win-win. 💸 Trust me, if you want to see revenue and profits go up, work with smaller influencers.

Great point. Here’s what I’ve advised my clients in the past. Know your industry. Inside and out, know what’s trending, who’s the top voices, which influences are popping in your industry. There are influencers out there that are massive because they entertain but there’s also three reasons they don’t convert. 1. Audience is too young to make a decision. 2. Audience doesn’t trust the creator as much 3. Audience and product aren’t aligned. So to avoid this, pick the influencers that don’t have those 3 issues. If you’re in the GYM industry, find an influencer who’s main audience are gymrats. 1. They are old enough to buy 2. They trust their creator 3. You sell something that their audience needs. OTHER THAN THAT. Influencers are great at raising awareness IF they aren’t converting. Choose wisely 🙏🏽
