Nina, thanks for sharing your insights. I know we all benefited from your talk and gained some valuable tools for managing stress and anxiety.
Founder - Pure Minds Inc. | International Bestselling Author | Corporate Wellbeing Workshops & Coaching | Mental Health Advocate | Ex-CPG Sales & Marketing
Thoroughly enjoyed delivering this workshop for Milton Hydro Distribution Inc.'s Town Hall. We discussed techniques on how to reduce work stress and anxiety, build resilience through perspective, let go of sh*t we can’t control and forgiveness. My favourite part is always speaking to the attendees post-workshop and hearing about their journeys or what resonated. I've noticed in recent years, employees are so much more vulnerable and open to sharing, and this generates an incredible amount of team camaraderie, psychological safety and trust. Big thanks to the incredible planning committee Peggy Zahtila, Kayla Vernon & Jessica Pomfret and specifically to Troy Hare, President & CEO of Milton Hydro for supporting this workshop!

What's a Landman you ask? Learn more about this exciting & rewarding profession that provides heat, light and mobility to the world!
On this day in 2022, “The Path of the Landman – Powering the World” debuted at our 68th Annual Meeting. Since then, the 10-minute video and its accompanying shorter versions have served as an important advocacy and recruiting tool for the land profession. In addition to the views that it has amassed online, the video has been seen in person by thousands on high school and college campuses, at mainstay industry events like NAPE and AAPL Energy Institute and at outreach events like school counselor conferences, energy festivals and more! “The Path of the Landman” tells the story of the land professional's journey of converting ideas into energy. Bringing a fresh awareness of the landman's crucial role in the energy industry, it dispels myths and misconceptions while highlighting the importance of the land profession and energy business to our local communities, states, country and world by providing the basic necessities for a modern life. Working with Faith DeBolt and SBW Consulting, Inc. on multiple projects in 2024 has been such a joyful and rewarding experience. Collaborating on impactful initiatives is incredibly fulfilling, but doing so with smart, caring, kind, and fun people like Faith DeBolt, Anna Kelly,Santiago Rodriguez-Anderson, PE, Bing Tso and Poppy Storm (2050 Institute) makes it even better. I feel like we’ve found the perfect Goldilocks team to support any city, state, or program with their Building Performance Standards and Building Decarbonization goals with a keen lens on equity and participatory program, strategy, and policy creation. #BuildingDecarbonization #BuildingPerformanceStandards #SustainabilityLeadership #EnergyEfficiency #Teamwork #CollaborationForImpact #ClimateAction #DecarbonizationSolutions #SustainableCities #SmartCities #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #Equity #Participatory
Check out the report on SBW's work developing the Energy Use Intensity targets for Oregon's Building Performance Standards, https://lnkd.in/ghDQunr4 This effort adds to our growing collection of contributions to Building Performance Standards policy work. For Washington state, we partnered with Poppy Storm (2050 Institute) to develop the Energy Use Intensity targets then added Unrooz Solutions to support the state by facilitating the Clean Buildings Workgroup and conducting case studies and financial analyses to strategize on ways to ensure successful compliance with the Clean Buildings Performance Standard. For the City of Seattle, we've partnered with 2050 Institute and Unrooz to facilitate the Technical Advisory Group, develop the Greenhouse Gas Intensity targets, and are now in the thick of supporting the city through rulemaking including facilitating the working group, providing technical assistance, and drafting some of the rules.
