Coming home from a fantastic 3 days delivering on Engaging Teams: one of biggest take aways being Tuckman’s stages of team development and how to recognise them. We’re all familiar with the child-like behaviours that can abound in the storming phase as a result of people feeling unheard, uncertain or unsafe following change. So it was a great reminder that to navigate this phase well and gain buy-in, we need to create psychological safe spaces to give our staff a voice: encourage them to ask questions, constructively challenge and share ideas on how best to move forward. #team #managementdevelopment #leadership

Three Reasons Why Fun Should Be In The Leadership & Culture Development Mix “Whoever established the high road and how high it should be should be fired. It’s fun time!! 🥳” 1. Fun opens up doors to creativity and eventually innovation because overly stressed person is bad for business. 2. Fun equals play therefore it has minimal rules hence inviting exploration. Rigid and mechanical “play” is boring. 3. Fun speeds up collaboration and togetherness in achieving play objectives. That’s why teambuilding fosters that. #leadership #innovationculture #fun #teambuilding #businessgrowth

Transformational Leader | Bestselling Author of "Begin With WE" | Elevating Leadership Through the Power of WE
If WE want to build a high-functioning team and a Culture of Excellence WE must address conflict within our teams. WE must face them head-on, because conflict is absolutely inevitable within any team. Ironically, WE should be terrified if there is a lack of conflict, because this means members of the team don’t actually care enough to express concern or disagreement. #BeginWithWE #leadershiplegacy #legacy #work #leader #leaders #team #care #AuthenticLeadership #authenticity #leadershipdevelopment #culture #CultureMatters #principleoftheday #leadership #employeeengagement #empathy #employeexperience #employeewellbeing #culture #mentalhealth #psychologicalsafety

I am happy to announce my completion of the "Managing Someone Older Than You" course by John Tarnoff! This course provided valuable insights into bridging generational gaps and fostering effective communication within a multigenerational team. John Tarnoff's expert guidance on overcoming age bias and integrating the wealth of experience from older team members is invaluable. I am excited to implement these strategies in my leadership approach so that I am able to create a more inclusive and collaborative work environment. #ProfessionalDevelopment #LeadershipSkills #Inclusion #TeamCollaboration #OperatonsManagement #ContinuousLearning #ExecutiveLeadership #COO #OrganizationalLeadership
