While the competition concentrates on having national accounts they are forgetting about the local business. Everyday we get told the competition onsite response is getting slower and slower because their engineers spend 60% of time traveling. We have taken on service technicians all with the same employee complaints traveling too far every single day. By choosing local companies not only do you get fast service support you help reduce this country’s carbon footprint. Get in touch to switch .

"You'll be back"....💥 This morning, during our daily huddle, Kaitlyn Redmond posed an interesting question to the group. What is one thing someone has said to you, a quote you've heard or lesson taught, that has really stuck with you? 🤔 For me, it was 3 simple words. Back in 2010, on my final 12hr night shift as a mechanical maintenance engineer, one of my colleagues simply said; "You'll be back". Those 3 words, may potentially have been the fuel I've needed ever since, to see the hard times through 🚀 Labelling me a failure, before I'd even left 👎 Suggesting, with tongue in cheek that I'm making a crazy decision, leaving my comfort zone and ultimately, projecting their own insecurities on me (as I now know), was enough for me to have an anchor phrase to channel as and when I need it ⚓️ I am aware that we shouldn't be doing things to prove anyone wrong, or right, but as the question was posed, it was the first thing that came to mind 🙏 So, take that doubt and take the thinly veiled concern, and use it as fuel, knowing that most will never even take that first step 🚶♂️ #salescoach #doubt #growth

I help single engineers (30s-40s) find ideal partners. 5+ years of experience fixing engineers' dating lives. Want to find your ideal partner? We have a few slots open, book a call 👇
This is what I recommend every engineer do before dates: Sit down somewhere, do one set of 30 quick & deep breaths: in from the nose, out through the mouth. Then exhale fully & stay without breathing for as long as you can. When you’re done, inhale. This (WHM) primes you into a more conducive state for man to woman communication.

Taking a break from the routine might actually help to boost productivity... Around this season last year, I took a long hour flight. It was during the flight, I managed to complete the Upstream Procedure for Performing L4 Quantification to meet OGMP requirement. It was during that time too, the structure for leveraging on ultrasonic flowmeter to quantify pneumatic HC gas was drafted. I was procrastinating for many weeks in office to complete these. In long hour flight, I have the luxury of not looking at phone, not checking social media, not talking, not interacting, and not being obliged to fulfill social obligation of being seen as a team player. And I realize, this is the true luxury, for at least during the time when we need to complete certain tasks that demand great focus. Perhaps we should all take a step back once in a while, perhaps we should take a break from our routine, from corporate or organization routine that seemingly so busy at all time, yes seemingly. Who knows it will actually help to boost productivity. In this flight, there is no procedure to draft. But, I still enjoy the luxury of being detached from the pseudo busy routine... Ciao...
