Want your employees to love your new system? Start treating them like customers. Think about it. What makes customers happy? 1. They have a say in what they’re paying for. 2. They trust the seller knows what they’re talking about. 3. They know how to use the product. 4. They feel heard and responded to. Apply this to your employee experience: 1. Involve them in the process. 2. Explain why the new system is necessary. 3. Train employees to feel comfortable with the system. 4. Listen to their feedback and respond thoughtfully. Treat your employees like customers, and they’ll be more invested in your company’s success. Maximize your employee engagement and watch your system implementation succeed like never before. #implementation #feedback

I have shared a similar post before, but it is important enough to reshare. This is an insightful read from HBR on transforming employee feedback into actionable strategies. The article highlights the importance of not just collecting feedback but also acting on it to drive meaningful change. At Microsoft, we utilize Employee Signals, a twice yearly listening survey to ensure we are continuously responding to employee insights and fostering a culture of improvement and engagement. Do you believe engagement is key to driving innovation and success? #EmployeeEngagement #CustomerExperience #Culture

Some of my key realizations and posts this year: • Most companies say communication is critical but treat it as an afterthought. • Your employees don't trust you to provide the technology they need to do their best work. • Having "good enough" communication tools is majorly holding your company back. Looking ahead: 2025 is when companies will finally have to face that communication technology isn't just another IT procurement decision - it's the foundation of employee engagement and customer satisfaction. CEOs can continue to complain about lack of connection and engagement or they can actually do something about it. I'll be here helping organizations navigate this reality, one communication audit at a time. My 3 biggest posts that sparked real conversations in the comments. #CommTech #EverythingIsCommunication #CommunicationIsEVERYTHING

Do you know why the employee experience matters? 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻. Many organizations focus on employee engagement, but that's the outcome of the overall experience. They don't understand that the employee experience starts with the selection process and includes everything until you leave the organization (and maybe even the alumni program, if one exists.) 𝗦𝗼...𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼? Prioritize creating an employee experience that your people will talk about and share with others. 📌Recommendation #1 - Understand the friction points for your employees. 👎🏻 Is it hard to get the right IT equipment? 👎🏻 Do employee referrals seem to go into a black box? 👎🏻 Do employees have to wait for somebody to help them do basic administrative changes (change a bank account or a home address)? These may seem like little things, but those little things add up. 📌 Recommendation #2 - Understand what your competitors are doing that your people are asking for. These processes or programs may be the bar of entry for people to speak highly about your culture. 📌 Recommendation #3—This is the most important one. Ensure every supervisor and leader understands their role in making each team member successful. ✔️They need to set clear expectations and be coaching to those expectations. ✔️ They need to check-in. ✔️ They need to be available and transparent. Don't you want your workplace to be the one everyone talks about positively? If you’re not confident that your employee experience will attract and retain the best people, let’s talk. #ceos #founder #employeeexperience Getty Images For Unsplash+
