𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭! 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Just landed a dream offer, but salary talk is looming. Feeling nervous? Let's turn those jitters into negotiation confidence with 3 battle-tested tips: 1. 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐬 ️: Don't walk into the negotiation blindfolded! Salary comparison websites, industry reports, and job postings are your secret weapons. Research typical salary ranges for your position and experience level. Knowledge is power, y'all! 2. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 : Instead of a single number, throw down a salary range. This shows flexibility and makes you look prepared (because you are, thanks to tip #1 ). When proposing the range, don't forget to toot your own horn a little! Highlight your skills, experience, and the value you'll bring to their team. 3. 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞 : Not ready to throw down numbers just yet? That's cool. You can deflect gracefully by saying something like: "I'm super excited about the opportunity and the role itself, but I'm confident we can find a compensation package that works for both of us." Remember, research is still key, so be prepared to discuss salary when the conversation progresses. **Now, hit me with your best negotiation tips in the comments! ** #SalaryNegotiation #NewJob #CareerTips

Talking about salary shouldn't be taboo. 💸 Know the market rate for your role (websites like RepVue are super useful, or ask companies like Timberseed for benchmarking data) 💸 When asked about your salary expectations - mention other roles you've recently interviewed for, what they're paying + market rate 💸 Salary negotiations should be about what you bring to the table rather than what you feel you are 'entitled' or 'need' (although we all need money to live, let's face it!) If there is a lack of transparency around salary while interviewing - this could be a red flag 🚩 What other tips would you add here?
