Founder: NewUCoachingStudio | Life & Health Coach | I empower women to unlock confidence, self-expression, and self-worth to thrive. I lead team workshops to boost morale, productivity, and foster a positive work culture
“Have you ever found yourself at the crossroads, torn between prioritizing your own personal needs and your unwavering commitment to your work and family? If so, let me assure you, you are not alone. Throughout my journey as a health and life coach, I've encountered numerous instances where the delicate balance between self-care and external responsibilities seemed like an unattainable feat. This often left me feeling depleted, as I struggled to meet the expectations placed upon me, both personally and professionally. However, it was through these very challenges that I unearthed invaluable insights into the art of balance. I learned that honoring our own needs isn't merely a matter of self-indulgence but a fundamental aspect of achieving sustainable productivity and nurturing the relationships that matter most. Reflecting on My Experience for Broader Insights through my personal exploration and professional practice, I've come to understand that the key to harmonizing personal needs with our duties lies in intentional self-awareness and setting clear boundaries It's about recognizing that saying 'yes' to everything often means saying 'no' to our own well-being. In my coaching sessions, I emphasize the importance of self-compassion, advocating for a lifestyle that allows for personal growth amidst the hustle of daily responsibilities. I've seen firsthand how transformative it can be when individuals grant themselves the permission to pause, reflect, and attend to their needs with the same fervor they devote to their work and loved ones. So, to anyone feeling overwhelmed by the juggling act of life's demands, I invite you to consider this 👇 Striking a balance does not imply a 50-50 split but finding a rhythm that resonates with your values and allows you to thrive in all facets of your life. Let's embark on a journey together towards greater balance, self-understanding, and fulfillment. Because at the end of the day, taking care of yourself is not just a personal necessity; it's the cornerstone of being able to give your best to the people and pursuits you cherish most. Allow yourself to ask for help in implementing these. When you feel ready , I am committed to help ! Your Thoughts?I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this topic. POTENTIAL At infinite Evolution & Passion Fit Coaching we often talk about ipsative assessment being an essential part of our culture. Ipsative assessment is assessment of your performance & progression relative to your start point & potential, not relative to others, societal expectations or arbitrary measures. We believe that measuring progression this way is critical for mental wellbeing, sustained motivation & a long term sense of fulfilment. If you have ever been told “you are a waste of potential” and found this statement leads to confused feelings, this may resonate with you. Just because you have the ability to perform at something does not obligate you to sacrifice your overall balance, values, sense of self and personal wellbeing to chase a performance level others place more importance on than you do. We are often asked when we talk about ipsative assessment is, ‘what do you mean by potential?’. In general potential is mistakenly considered to be your inherent ability, however, we believe there is more to it than that, especially when you consider the important contribution overall life balance plays in genuine fulfilment. We believe potential is actually a combination of your inherent ability, what you can do & what you will do. These contributing factors all matter & are unique to each individual’s version of accomplishment. What do you think? #potential #personaldevelopment #personaldevelopmentcoach #accomplishment #commitment #opportunity #goals #lifebalance #wellbeing

“I look forward to every conversation.” (A guest post today from a dear friend) - Abby The eureka for me was when I looked at my calendar one day and realized everything on it was work-related. I thought, “Wait, if it’s important to me, it should on my calendar.” So, I began adding friends and colleagues. Simple touchpoints of 15 minutes – and a lot of them. The idea was to create a space – however small – where I could give my undivided attention to that relationship. Where it could be coffee or dinner or something more formal, great, but even simply the reminder to check in with them was important to me. Wait… what else is important to me? What emerged was a new way of looking at time and an approach to organizing my activities around my priorities. The first step was to articulate my priorities. I kept it simple: Best Father – physically, mentally, and emotionally present, wise, energetic, and playful. Best Partner – physically, mentally, and emotionally present, uplifting, attentive, attuned, and kind. Best Coach – perceptive, wise, compelling, influential, and continuously refining my craft. Best Friend – available to celebrate significant life events, mentally and emotionally present. Best Colleague – generous, supportive, sought-after mentor, thought-partner and collaborator. Best Self – healthful, energetic, inspired, nourished physically and emotionally, and financially secure. Next, am I allocating enough (any?) time to each of these priorities? And how can I design a life such that every area of my life is thriving and no one area is thriving so much that it comes at the price of any other area. Now, my calendar better reflects my priorities. In any given day, there is at least some time allocated to all of them. I can look at any given week and see that all the meetings I have are relevant to the fulfillment of my priorities. I can look at any given month and make small adjustments to create more ease. I can look into the future to events that are important, not only to me, but to my loved ones as well. Just like hydrating before we’re thirsty, by dedicating time to each of my priorities, I improve the likelihood that they thrive. And when the unexpected happens or when one area of life demands extra attention, I can more easily accommodate. --- I hope you enjoyed this guest post from Daniel Sheres, my executive coach and more importantly, a dear friend.

July (mid-year) is a great time for self-evaluation and reflection to identify any changes you would like to make, and then to hit the "reset" button. Maybe something(s) in the first half of this year didn't go as well as you would have liked (maybe your self-care, health, stress, exercise, work/life balance, career fulfillment, etc.). That was then, this is now! (the start to the 2nd half of the year). And, you have a choice to make. You can choose....a) keep going as you have been, or b) you can decide this is your "restart" and commit to make a change. If you are in the B camp, then having a coach is an excellent way to help you make a change (big or small) and to achieve your goals. It is even okay if you don't really know where you want to go next, just that you know what you've been doing isn't getting the outcome that you really want. My signature ~90 minute, 1on1, "Personal Vision & Strategy Session" will help uncover what it is that you really want, and more importantly WHY, and lastly what's holding you back, and what it's going to take to get the outcome you truly desire. 🎆 🎇 🔊 For the month of July ONLY, I will be offering my "Personal Vision & Strategy Session" for FREE (for the first 5 who take up my special offer). Simply message me that you are interested in taking up this SPECIAL offer to RESET for the 2nd half of 2023! #worklifebalance #lifecoach #changeyourlife #healthcoach #wellbeing #stress #stressmanagement #stressrelief #createthelifeyoudesire
