This week at a team development day we unpacked how leaders can self-regulate themselves to remain in a state of best-self and hence high performance. We used the stress curve, first to identify where we were at that day, and secondly to discuss leaders’ remit to create the work environment for team members to also work in states of high performance. My favourite part was when we discussed that a leader’s job is to facilitate high energy states for their teams and themselves, as that leads to high performance. There are so many ways to do so… I would love to hear what is your favourite way?
