For example, one of our clients owns a very successful Cosmetic Injectables Clinic in Fulham. They provide Botox and filler services and are experts in what they do ⭐ For their business to succeed they must be able to focus on serving their clients and providing treatments to the highest standard possible. This is why I was brought in to act as their business client liaison manager and deal with any task that isn't medical related. The NUMBER ONE piece of advice for sales rep joining a new company is... The best way to quickly understand a new industry or technology is by spending time with your customers. I advise spending a minimum of a half a day a week preferrably 2 half days at current customers offices. Have your manager help set up these meetings so they are on the schedule. Shadow different team members for an hour at a time. You'll see how customers specifically in the aesthetic industry patients go through the buying, consultation, and procedural process 1st hand. There's no better or quicker way to learn the industry, verbiage, and technology than from your customers. I'd go as far as to ask in the final stages of the interview process for this to be part of the negotiation. If the company doesn't have happy customers that should be a 🚩! Happy customers also welcome new sales representatives and much like a ride along with a manager their team members are on point on the days a rep is present. Lastly, this will help you sell like none other. If you have a good enough relationship where you have cell access to a current customer's aesthetician, director of 1st impressions, nurse practitioner, PA, medical assistant, office manager, physician, or business owner they are VERY likely to be ok with you connecting them with prospects (as long as it's only done sporadically). No one can help move a prospect closer to the finish line than a happy current customer who can explain patient outcomes and profitability with tangible evidence. This is solid advice for any industry. It helped me go from good to great!
