If this guy ever had to go out and purchase groceries, he might consider all the farmers harvesting the food in his cart, that have to pay carbon tax to grow and harvest our food. Then the trucking companies that deliver the food must buy gas with a carbon tax associated with each item increasing their costs. Canadian consumer's cost of a trip to the grocery store has more than doubled in the last three years. Then everyone in this country needs to heat their homes it hurts common Canadians every day. Why don't we eliminate carbon pricing it is not reducing worldwide emissions it only reduces Canadian emissions. Focus on research and development inside our Canadian Energy companies to find alternative energies and deliver the cleanest possible energy to the world. That will do more for the environment, the people of this great country, and the world. Canada needs more clean Canadian oil and gas. Every company that I deal with daily is concerned about the well-being of their employees and about the well-being of our world's environment! Trudeau you just don't get it, (it is not about a sweet UN posting into your retirement) what you are doing is harming everyone in this country and not helping the Environment. Get rid of him.
The difference is clear: while Pierre Poilievre wants to take Canada backward, we’ll keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.

Today as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, we reflect on the many contributions Indigenous people have made to Canada. As an organization and as individuals, we recognize and respect: - The diversity of Indigenous cultures and worldviews and their roles in Canada’s past, present, and future. - Our collective responsibility to share natural resources revenues and close gaps in socio-economic conditions between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. - Our role in the journey towards reconciliation by advancing Indigenous knowledge systems in all our work. - Our privilege to live, work, and play on Indigenous land.

🇨🇦🍁 Reflecting on Canada Day: Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 🍁🇨🇦 Canada Day is a time to celebrate the rich mosaic of cultures and peoples that make this nation unique. However, we must recognize that for many Indigenous communities, this day may hold a different significance. Turtle Island, the land we now call Canada, has been the ancestral home of Indigenous Peoples long before the concept of Canada even existed. While we celebrate the achievements and diversity of our country, let us also take a moment to reflect on the often-troubled history between the Canadian state and the original inhabitants of these lands. Many Indigenous Peoples have not fully aligned themselves with the Canadian identity, as the legacy of colonialism and the ongoing struggles for self-determination and reconciliation remain deeply felt. Some are not Canadians but are rights and treaty holders on this land that we are guests on. It is crucial that we honor and uplift the voices, stories, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples, not just on Canada Day, but every day. Their resilience, wisdom, and stewardship of the land are integral to the fabric of this nation, and their rightful place as the first peoples of Turtle Island must be recognized and celebrated. In this spirit, let us come together to acknowledge the complex and nuanced perspectives on this day, and strive to build a more inclusive, equitable, and just society that truly reflects the diversity and the deep-rooted history of this land and its peoples. Wishing everyone a reflective and inclusive Canada Day. 🇨🇦❤️ —- Artistic version of the national flag using native motifs and style. Happy Canada Day Eh! 💖 As Canada Day, rolls around, I find myself reflecting on what this day means to us. It’s not just a moment to honor our values of inclusion, resilience and working together, as well as a time for reflection, and gratitude. 💖 Some fun facts about Canada ✨Unlike many countries, our celebration isn’t about a war, but a peaceful request to Queen Victoria by the Upper & Lower colonies of Canada to form our own nation. ✨The second largest country in the world. ✨One of the longest highways in the world and the longest coastline is in Canada. ✨Basketball was invented by a Canadian. ✨We have more lakes than any other country. ✨Canada is famous for Niagara Falls, Banff, and the Northern Lights. ✨We’re a major producer of maple syrup. ✨Poutine originated in Quebec. ✨Canadians are known for tolerance, sensitivity, political correctness, being polite, saying ‘sorry’ & ‘eh’ ✨The beaver is Canada’s national animal. ✨Our border with the US is the longest unprotected border in the world. ✨Often known for its cold winters. Coldest recorded temp: -63 degrees C ✨Famous Canadians: Michael J. Fox, William Shatner, Martin Short, Jim Carrey, Celine Dion, and more, plus ‘The Rick Mercer Report’ is a must watch for Canadian satire. As in most countries, it wasn’t all glory. It’s also important to acknowledge and remember the difficult times as stepping stones towards reconciliation and a brighter future. 💖 On this Canada Day, let’s cherish our opportunities and freedoms we enjoy daily and be truly grateful for these, and grateful for being a good neighbor to the US. 🚀 Today, I’d love to hear your favorite Canada memories and what you’re grateful for in your country.
