I love working with passionate people who like to make an impact. Most of my clients are incredibly high-achieving — and I’m only here to encourage that. I’m the same way. BUT, where we get into trouble is that we can forget how to check out. We can start feeling reallllly uncomfortable with rest and play, because they don’t feel productive to us (i have a rant about how rest *is* productive, but it is for another day). Learning to rest without guilt and feel WORTHY without needed to be productive is key to burnout prevention. The bonus? Once you master this, you’ll be even more energized when you open that laptop again. . . #burnoutrecovery #burnoutprevention #burnout #corporatelife #careeradvice #careeradvancement #corporatelaw #corporatelawyer #successmindset #perfectionism #impostersyndrome #perfectionismrecovery #ceomindset #worklifebalance #careertips #careerwoman #millionairemindset #womenmillionairemindset #womeninbusiness

"You’re hired!"... But at what cost? Ever heard of #WorkPTSD? It’s real, and it doesn’t start when the work does! It begins the moment you’re hired. Let me explain... For many, landing the job is supposed to bring relief. But instead, it brings stress. Endless deadlines, micro-managing bosses, and the fear of not measuring up. We mask it with "hustle culture," but the truth is: mental health is taking a hit. I’ve been there too... sleepless nights, walking on eggshells, replaying every email in my head. I won’t lie. It was exhausting.😓 But here's the thing: we need to acknowledge that #WorkPTSD exists. It’s more than just burnout; it’s the anxiety you feel when your phone buzzes with an email or a Slack notification at 10 pm, or that voice in your head wondering if you’re "good enough." When we ignore it, it doesn’t just affect productivity. It affects our well-being. <sadly> But here’s the twist: recognizing it is the first step to recovery. If you're experiencing this, you're not alone. Let’s start talking about it. Let’s normalize #MentalHealth in the workplace. No job is worth losing yourself over.☺️ If this resonates, let’s discuss ways we can improve work culture for the sake of our minds. 👇 #MentalHealthMatters #WorkPTSD #WorkLifeBalance #LinkedInCommunity #MentalHealthInTheWorkplace

SAY NO TO TOXICITY Always remember that one of the most valuable things in life is relationship. When we talk of toxic work environment, it is actually the persons in that organization that make it toxic. Attitude, manner of approach and tone of speech matters a lot in the office. Never look down on or trample on anyone in your workspace. While I know that it is your right to exercise your rights according to your capacity, remember to treat people with respect, love and empathy. It does not actually take anything away from you to speak nicely to your colleagues, including subordinates. You really cannot tell the career journey of anyone. Anyone can play a role in your life in the future, either good or bad and your attitude towards them on a daily goes a long way in making them decide what your fate will be. Even if you may never need that person, you do not need to be the reason another person’s ego is bruised daily. You also do not know what personal challenges some people are facing, try not to add to it. Toxicity is draining and it is detrimental to mental health. In 2024, let's amplify the culture of encouragement and support. Be a mentor, a motivator, and a source of inspiration for your colleagues. Together, let's create a workplace that not only meets professional aspirations but also enriches the lives of everyone who walks through our doors. #HRMotivation #ZeroToxicity #TeamSpirit #SuccessInUnity #WorkplaceCulture #NewPossibilities

Unresponsive to emails and messages, unfocused at work, missing deadlines, and becoming less approachable—these sudden changes were not normal for one of my performing team members. As someone trained in mental health, I suspected this might be due to a mental health struggle, and I was right. I decided it was important to take action. I wanted to create a safe space for him and all my team members to share what they were going through without feeling judged. I started the conversation gently. “I’ve noticed you seem a bit overwhelmed lately,” I said. “I just wanted to check in and see how you’re doing.” His body language showed he was hesitant, but I encouraged him to speak openly. As he began to share, it became clear that he was dealing with a lot of personal stress, including family issues that had been weighing heavily on him. I listened attentively, showing empathy and understanding. It was evident that he appreciated having someone to talk to, and I made sure to let him know that his feelings were valid. After he shared his concerns, I brought up the idea of seeking support from our Employee Assistance Program. “You don’t have to go through this alone,” I reassured him. “There are people and resources that can help you.” We discussed some possible adjustments that could make his work life easier, like flexible deadlines or taking a force leave. He seemed relieved to hear that these options were available and felt more hopeful about managing his workload. As our conversation wrapped up, I emphasized the importance of setting boundaries for his well-being. “It’s okay to take a break and focus on yourself,” I said. “Your health comes first, and the team will support you in that.” Over the next few weeks, I followed up regularly to see how he was doing. I noticed small but positive changes in his demeanor; he was starting to engage more with the team and even opened up about his experiences during group meetings. #MentalHealthAwareness #EmpathyInLeadership #EmployeeSupport #WorkplaceWellbeing #TeamEngagement #MentalHealthMatters #CompassionateLeadership #EmployeeAssistance #HealthyWorkplace #SupportYourTeam

Is your colleague burnt out? Burnout can be tricky to spot, but being aware of the signs could make all the difference. If you’re worried about a colleague, ask yourself: • Have they seemed more distant or less engaged than usual? • Are they struggling with tasks they used to manage easily? • Do they seem constantly exhausted, no matter how much rest they get? • Has their work quality or focus taken a dip recently? • Are they avoiding socialising or team interactions? If a few of these sound familiar, it might be time to check in. A simple conversation could go a long way in offering support. Does anyone know of any other signs which could point to a colleague being burnt out? And what would you do to help them? #Burnout #WellbeingAtWork #SupportYourTeam #MentalHealth #WorkplaceWellbeing

📢Feeling trapped in a toxic work environment? When you are in a toxic environment, instead of using your brainpower, imagination, and time to do something productive at work, you waste it on politics and survival. Quitting and finding another job might take time. In the meantime, here are some coping strategies: ✔️ Document everything - Keep Records of specific incidents, including dates, times, and the people involved. This documentation can be helpful if you need to escalate the situation later. ✔️ Find a support system – Find helpful positive coworkers to lean on. Having individuals to vent your frustrations to who aren’t your coworkers provides you with another safe outlet. ✔️ Set boundaries – Minimize contact with toxic individuals. Get the assigned work done and use your time wisely to search for a job or spend time the way you love. ✔️ Speak Up wisely - If you decide to voice your concerns, focus on potential solutions rather than just complaining. ✔️ Understand Workplace Policies - Familiarize yourself with your company’s policies on harassment, discrimination, and workplace behavior. ✔️ Take some time to unwind - Find methods to unwind after a long day at work. Know That Nothing Is Permanent. Proactively look for opportunities to move on. No job is worth destroying your mental health. 🌱 ♻️ Share this post to raise awareness and end the normalization of toxic workplaces. #toxicworkenvironment #positiveculture

In Corporate sector you have to face mental stress is more than physical stress. Sometimes you cannot tolerate the mental stress for your site, but you don’t do anything’s. That’s times needs support for your colleagues. If you will share your feelings but at first ensure he’s that person trustable or not. Because incorporate sector around in self-serving man. But I will suggest don’t share your colleagues in workplace related issue. In corporate sector increase the mental stress for many others reasons for example -work pressure, office politics, promotion, salary, not satisfied your service for senior etc. But you know that why are you depressed. At first you find out the problem & write down in your note. And try to write down the solution. Truly say that is not easy to the solution at a time but it’s not impossible. You always remember every problem has a solution. Just needs your patience. Every patience has a reward end of the work. #Stress #Pressure #Overload

A toxic work environment won’t change unless someone speaks up or walks away—it is that simple. 💯 Remember, a toxic culture reflects on the company, not on your worth or capabilities. Don’t let it mess with your confidence or how you see yourself. Set firm boundaries to protect your well-being, and start looking for opportunities that align with your values and goals. Your mental and emotional health should always come first. If you’re ready to leave that toxic job behind, comment “CAREER” and let’s talk about your next move! 💪 #toxicworkplace #mentalhealthmatters #worklifebalance

The impact of a toxic work environment on your personal life is often underestimated. I've spoken with many individuals enduring such environments, and my heart goes out to them. However, it's not just the employees who suffer - it affects their families and friends as well. Individuals bringing work stress home may exhibit behaviors like snapping, giving harsh responses, or showing disinterest in loved ones. While occasional, if these become the norm, it's a wakeup call. Recognize how your job affects those around you. Your loved ones shouldn't bear the brunt of a negative work environment. If you're struggling, reach out. I'm here to help you make a change. #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealth #SupportiveEnvironment
