PEACE OF MIND WITH THE SKUdrop CHECK IN PROCESS…📦 Not sure how many customers I talk to that just assume their inventory will “just be ok” once it leaves manufacturers. SKUdrop are in China, so the goods should still be sparkling ✨ like new when we receive them. Many sellers believe this occurs during shipping or by last mile carriers or even Amazon etc. Not always the case…. Can’t tell you how many times we receive cartons that are in just terrible condition and they’ve just left the suppliers….even after the mandatory “Chinese inspections!” Second hand boxes, weathered, wet and broken. We see it all. Good for our clients, we catch it all in our check in process, they then have options to rectify. Send the goods back or have the manufacturer pay us to re-box. We laser, weigh, send an email with photos for all inbounds and open a couple of cartons to make sure everything looks ok. Be surprised what we find. Crazy stuff…..

Failing to inspect product quality before shipment is like nailing the final nail to the coffin. In this situation, you hope for the best when the container arrives. After paying the supplier, shipping, import duties, logistics, etc, you may find yourself sorting out a high percentage of defective products you can’t sell.  All of this wasted time and money could be avoided by inspecting quality during production on-site at your supplier’s factory. A good rule of thumb is to closely inspect the first three or four productions, with a special emphasis on providing detailed feedback to the supplier after the first inspection. If the supplier proves reliable and trustworthy, you may choose to randomly inspect one-in-three in the future to keep them on their toes.
