Yesterday at Sales Platoon, JOHN RENKEN, CPD 🇺🇸 discussed confidence and the importance of self positivity. I think it’s really important in sales since things aren’t going to go our way and we’ll face lots of rejection. Despite this, it is important to focus on what we can control which is: Attitude, Schedule/Time Management, and Activity. It’s important to have daily reminders of the good things (such as hanging positive quotes around the house) and ensuring we talk positively about ourselves. Afterall, the words we speak come from the heart.

I’m happy to share that I’ve just completed Red Bull's On-Premise Sales on Forage! In the simulation I had: Learnt about how On-Premise Sales activities are carried out at Red Bull Used Excel to visualize which on-premise clients are performing best and worst Communicated observations to Red Bull team members about why certain clients are performing better than others. Utilized active listening and social proof to overcome a client’s objections resulting in them more prominently featuring Red Bull in their bar. I have therefore gained an insight into analyzing Sales Data. More in the field is to be explored.

I recently completed Red Bull's On-Premise Sales simulation on Forage. In this simulation, I: Focused on On-Premise Sales activities specific to Red Bull. Used Excel to visualize the performance of various on-premise clients, identifying both the best and worst performers. Communicated my observations to Red Bull team members, explaining the reasons behind the varying performance levels of different clients. Applied active listening and social proof techniques to address and overcome a client's objections, ultimately persuading them to feature Red Bull more prominently in their bar.

As a sales leader, THIS is what you want to see from your team! Sales is a roller coaster. Even for rocks stars like Anthony. He does all the right stuff to avoid the cold streaks: ☕ feeds the pipeline ☕ varies his lead pool ☕ stays consistent and disciplined in his outreach ☕ asks for feedback and works on his processes But not every month will set records. The lulls will come. It's how you respond to them that separates the good from the great. I love to see this attitude from someone on my team, and know next month will be a different story. I love this clip from Young Sheldon, of George and his quest to sell snow globes. To me it demonstrates perfectly (in a fun way!) what sales is; an emotional decision and/or a solution to a problem, as well as the importance of knowing what value your product/service brings to your potential customers.
