Back in the time when I was a head of events in luxury hotels, one of my main duties was recruiting the right profiles. And a lot of it is about finding the right attitude and the right mindset. As this is exactly one of the first thing you need to be looking for recruiting the right profiles. From my team of managers to the huge pool of service staff I was having in order to cover the very large events we were running daily, recruitment was one of the thing I was delegating the less. As I really wanted to build that team of people with the best attitude and similar beliefs around key topics such as customer service. And the impact on the team's performance and the customer experience was amazing. As Herb Kelleher used to say "You don't hire for skills, you hire for attitude. You can always teach skills". So yes indeed, when it comes to customer success, making sure your people have the best mindset and attitude starts from the recruitment stage. #customersuccess #recruitment #takecareofyourpeople
