Skyryse’s Post

This past spring and summer I have been working as a systems engineer intern on the safety and systems engineering teams at Skyryse. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I was given to develop my skills as an engineer and a collaborator during my internship. I wanted to give special thanks to those who supported me, including Mangeet Singh, Hayley Kantor, David Sweeney, Sage Lawrence, and Brian Schilling. I also wanted to give a massive shoutout to Dayna Cano and Carolina Perez for their support throughout my entire experience! Some of my core responsibilities included: -Creating Failure Mode and Effects Analysis for aircraft components and systems -Writing, validating, and verifying requirements -Root cause analysis for aircraft problem reports -Safety data analysis I was given the chance to work across multiple disciplines and with a wide variety of cross functional teams, tackling difficult and faced-paced problems. The team at Skyryse is driven and passionate about the mission, and I am proud to have made my contribution to the future of general aviation safety. The work being done here is impressive and I truly believe will save lives.
