Technical employees often want to continue using their expertise throughout their careers rather than moving into management positions. Our technical development program recognizes this value by enabling professionals to manage their career progression while growing their technical knowledge and leadership. In this article, Pearl Chu and Cara Hunter, two of the SLB leaders in this area, describe how by developing non-managerial growth programs, you can empower the technical experts who power your company: https://lnkd.in/gxqy3SuH

Really Awesome ! This is one of thegreat Hallmark of SLB! #WeAreSLb

I think this is important. Not every engineer wants to get into management; and that shouldn’t hinder ability and job growth. Developing new technologies, writing patents, inventing products from new ideas is also a career path.

It's truly baffling to come across people on LinkedIn who express dissatisfaction with their current company and job, despite having the opportunity to work for prestigious companies like Halliburton, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, and Weatherford. This situation surprises me, especially when my colleagues and I are unable to join these companies due to the restrictions imposed by embargoed countries. My advice to everyone is to never lose sight of the opportunities you have and make the most of them

Great ideas. It's highly important that technical expertise and the level of technical knowledge is continuously put in practice and transferred to the next generation of future experts to open the opportunity for growth.
