𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝! 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦? In general, solar systems do not pose any particular hazards during floods. However, caution is advised since many solar systems have solar and battery inverters as well as battery storage units—the electrical components of the systems—located in the basement, which is where the water collects. PV modules, inverters, string distributors, battery storage units, DC plugs, and cables that have been flooded or damaged by water can pose a danger. Very important: Never put yourself at risk. SMA advises system operators to 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 contact their installer or an electrical professional first. #SafetyFirst

How to maintain a photovoltaic power station in summer? First, pay attention to the working environment of the inverter Maintain a good ventilation environment for the inverter Prevent exposure to the sun and other matters Second, pay attention to the ventilation and heat dissipation of the photovoltaic array Even if the dust and other debris on the surface of the photovoltaic module are cleaned Avoid hot spots, etc. Third, in the case of high temperature and heavy rain in summer It will also cause damage or burns to the junction box of the photovoltaic module Pay attention to these details during daily inspections Fourth, ensure the DC side cable It is also important to keep the ground well insulated in the rainy summer Rainwater will cause water accumulation on the ground and cause the foundation to sink When conducting operation and maintenance inspections Pay close attention to water accumulation and foundation changes #SchuttenSolar #Solanergy #solar #solarpower #solarpanels #greenenergy www.Schutten-solar.com Email: info@schutten.cn

Ensuring every detail is perfect for this 3.85Kw solar power installation. Before installation, we ensure that we are using high-quality, corrosion-resistant rails which is essential for a durable solar power setup. Securely fastening these rails to the roof ensures the panels stay in place, even in adverse weather conditions. Rails provide a sturdy base for your solar panels, ensuring stability. #solarpower #panels #solarpanelssetup #powerbackup #operationsefficiency #powerindepedence

Solar Panel Drainage Clip. Details cannot be ignored. After using this clip, there is ponding on PV panels. Ponding on PV panels can cause rainbow textures on the surface. This clip can minimize the amount of water and dust accumulated on the panel frame, with an inclination angle of 0~10°. Drainage Clip can improve the power generation and help you get more power.

installing club lights done it is advisable when installing a solar system for domestic and a client does not have the required sum when designing you do the following 1) you design a system that will allow expansion in future 2) you either isolate the cooker or any load that consume much current leave it in the Kplc, this help to save on electricity cost and also dwell on client's budget

If a solar energy system is damaged during a structure fire there is a possibility for a secondary fire. When the sun comes out the next day the solar panels will energize and if the solar system has been compromised it might cause another fire. It is good practice to cover the panels after an event until a solar engineer has the opportunity to inspect the system and insure it is operating properly. This is a perfect opportunity to cover the panels with PVStop and stop the production of DC energy at the source until the system is ready to be put back in service. At such time the PVStop compound can be easily removed from the panels without causing any damage to the panels.

FAQ: How long will my system last? A: The longevity of your system can be affected by a range of factors, both in and out of your control. The main ones that can impact how long your system will be functional are: Products Used – Are the products your installer used on your system of high quality? Are they covered by a considerable warranty by a company that services Australia? Environmental Factors – Solar components can be greatly inhibited by things like sand, dust and grime. Living near the ocean or in dusty areas can greatly diminish the efficiency of your solar system over time. Without knowing these factors specific to your location and system, it is hard to give a quantitative answer to how long your system will last. There are tests and audits that licensed electricians/solar installers can do to ensure your system is still in working order – we offer them here: https://lnkd.in/eaJB4a76

The benefits of having PVSTOP Solar Panel Block Out Product Case Study: UK London Fire Brigade, PVSTOP Global Pioneer deployed at terrace house. In July 2018, PVSTOP was requested for an incident at a terrace property. Fire crews attending the fire in Dagenham identified the presence of solar panels on the roof of a mid-terraced house and an aerial appliance from Tottenham attended. The crews were able to quickly and effectively deploy PVSTOP onto a seven-string installation and achieve a full coating. Some overspray was evident but this was secondary to the primary objective of eliminating the risk of electrocution. PVSTOP acts as a liquid blanket sprayed onto the solar panel and blocking out the light – the energy source, and 'switching off' the solar panels in seconds, rendering the solar PV system electrically safe. By doing this, first responders, emergency services and maintenance personnel are able to safely work on and around the solar PV systems. Make solar energy safe with PVSTOP ✅ Eliminates the risk of DC electrocution ⚡ ✅ Can 'switch off' a panel in seconds ⏱ ✅ Does no damage to the PV system ☀ ✅ Polymer film coating peels off once dry 👍 ✅ Environmentally friendly 🌱 Jactone is an approved distributor of PVSTOP For more information on PVSTOP visit ➡ https://lnkd.in/esP7vR_v 📞 Call +44 (0)1902 357777 or 📧 email sales@jactone.com #solar #safety #solarpower #solarpanels #solarindustry #solarenergy #EmergencyServices #healthandsafety #fireandrescue #firstresponders #fireservice #pvsolar #electrical #electrician #maintenance #housing

Attention homeowners 🚨 Kindly refrain from having "handyman" companies from "upgrading" your existing solar system by adding onto it. Pictured is an existing system of 10 modules installed over 8 years ago (2.25kW system) with an additional 4 modules installed ~8 months ago (1.5kW additional) but the strings were not balanced resulting in the 4 new PV modules never seeing any production! Between the mess of wire management, horrendous electrical installation, a ground fault and loss of production, a fire risk and water leak was looming! Unfortunately another Solar installation company could not diagnose nor fix the issues after multiple attempts. This small system was a mess and in dire need of repairs. Within 1.5 hours onsite and no planset, I diagnosed multiple issues, located and repaired a ground fault, got the majority of the system back online and pitched a plan to get it fully operational and safe. Bottom line: Experienced and qualified companies may not be cheap but they will save you from a world of headaches and wasted money. Do your research!

Recently, many users have consulted and discussed how to add battery solutions to photovoltaic water pump systems. My answer is: it can be done but not recommended. What do you need to prepare if you do this (Solarseeker example): 1. One or two groups of photovoltaic arrays; 2. 3 sets or 2 sets of off-grid inverters; 3. A set of storage batteries; 4. Photovoltaic water pump; 5. Other switch accessories; 6. Required cable wiring, etc. Why not recommended: 1. The cost is too high, much higher than that of ordinary photovoltaic water pump systems; 2. The failure rate is high, the maintenance cost is high, and the battery pack life is short. Recommend the simplest and most practical ones: The site of the photovoltaic water pump system is generally very wide, and a large pool is provided to store water, which is the same as the battery solution. #Solarseeker #Solarpump
