You know that feeling when you know what you should do, but it’s scary and feels like a big risk? I used to have a delegation bottleneck, accidentally choking my own growth. I had to sacrifice many opportunities just because I thought my team couldn’t do it. My productivity and growth were okay, but I lost many opportunities to grow more because I had no time to do the work. I knew we’d grow if I had someone else able to take on the other tasks, but I was scared. I’d never had someone else do it before.. Until my coach Jason persuaded me to hire a Virtual Assistant. I wasn’t sure if it worked. One day I received an application from Sorpresa. Her portfolio was impressive but I was doubtful because of her limited experience But she made me an offer I couldn’t say no to: “Let’s try for two weeks, let me manage your email and social media, and grow your guest post customers for free. If I can’t, let’s leave it there. And only if I do will you get to experience how I can help, and we will work together.” How could I say no to that? So she started on Monday. After two weeks, she signed 10 new clients. Managed my email and social media. That was 2 years ago, and we’ve been working together ever since. She knew her skills and took the risk out for me. It’s worked out great for both of us ever since. I’d like to do the same for you. I'd like to get you a couple of customers for free. More than enough to pay for Small Business Coach Program. If I can’t, let’s leave it there. If I do, you’ll get a taste of how I can help, and we work together for the rest of the year. Does that sound fair? This week I’m opening up 5 spots for an experiment — to see what happens if we work with 5 small business owners for free to get new customers. We’re gonna take the risk out, like Sorpresa did for me. It’s for Small Business Owners, already doing over $20k a month. Application opened last Monday, August 19, 2024, and we’re choosing people this week. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO, and see if it looks useful to you. https://lnkd.in/gUP-ePDj

Are you looking for 1-1 support which fits around you? I know that you’ve already got a great business, I am sure that you're smashing it, especially from other’s perspective! But let’s be honest… It's bloody hard doing it all alone, and you don’t actually feel as successful as other people tell you, you are. And that feeling comes from feeling alone, stuck at times, being frustrated as hell because you're not getting where you want to be as fast as you want to be! You’re no doubt a mastermind, you’ve got your community around you, and you know exactly what to do. But still, you know deep down you need more. You need someone there with you—someone to support you, push you further, and keep you accountable when things get tough. But you are also worried about fitting it in, because you're bloody busy! The thought of investing significantly, to have to jump on more 60 minute zooms seems counterproductive. I know this because I have been there, I have spent thousands and not used what I have paid for because no one could pin me down! My fault, not theirs! That’s why I’m offering something different. I am creating a way in which you can work with me 1-1 which will fit your life and business, not some rigid, set-in-stone call schedule. If you need a 3-hour deep dive one month or just a quick 15-minute catch-up one week, I am here for it. I’ve got you. If you want to send voice notes instead of hopping on another overwhelming call? No problem. I’m here for what you need, when you need it. You’ll have daily Whatsapp access to me for support, advice, and everything in between, maybe you are out and about, and suddenly the idea pops in your head - message me. You are feeling stuck, voicenote me, you are excited and want to share your wins - tell me. I will work with you however you want throughout each working week. We are busy, we are human and I will be here for you in the best way which will suit you throughout our time together. Your investment will be £1250pm, and you will also get access to Peakes Private Members Club worth £3000. 💥For closer, on hand 1-1 support, you can add monthly in-person days with me, I know working together face to face is far more powerful, and you commit one day a month with daily access in between, opposed to any calls or zooms if you like! These days will be strategy, clarity, or even just a chance to switch off and breathe. 🌟We’ll have VIP Days, and chill days because I know how hard it is to actually take time for yourself without someone making you do it (and when you don’t, everything suffers, right?). 🌟If you need support in an area of your business which is very specific, I will tap into my expert connections, who can join us for more help and support on your journey at no additional cost to you. Yes this is 1-1 but one person cannot help with everything, so tapping into the experts I have will be priceless. Dm me or comment 1-1 below so we can book a call and discuss next steps x

To level-up from corporate life, you have to nail this.. Trust me, you don’t want it to take 15 years (like it did for me). Finding what you’ll do next for work. I spent way too long in corporate. After 3 WEEKS, I vividly remember telling myself: “OK.. just 35 years of this and you’re good. It’s not that bad.. you can do it.” Surrounded by people doing the same thing – I had no idea how to escape. I thought this was the only way. But now, the options are endless. People everywhere are finding new paths. Taking control of their work. And their lives. → Doing something they enjoy → Earning on their terms → Controlling their days → And their lives. Why not you? It CAN be you. Imagine working.. → When you want → On tasks you enjoy → With people you actually like → On building something you’re proud of → Helping others with something you enjoy doing… While avoiding the sh*t that drains you. If you’ve: • Been working a 9-5 job for 10+ years • Dreamt of creating your own 1-person biz • And have the guts to take a bet on yourself.. Take action to make it your reality too. On Monday, October 28, I’m hosting ‘Fast Track to Freedom’ – a 90-minute masterclass designed to help you launch your own one-person business. You’ll learn the key steps to build an online business, land your first client, and start earning more than you do now—all while creating a life and career you control. You’ll walk away with the tools and confidence to make this change – on your own terms. You can take the first step here: https://lnkd.in/dbBue_6h __________

My car failed it's MOT 😩 But what's worse! I had to call to find out what was going on, as noone had called me. The lady I spoke to told me the car was ready for me to collect and all was fine. I got excited believing I'd passed. 5 minutes later, she called back to tell me it had failed. 😡 I asked her why she had told me otherwise just 5 minutes ago, she said she was only just told. I asked her the exact issues and how much it would cost to fix. She told me she didn't know and would have to call me back, but it was a tyre and a wiper issue. Someone else called me back shortly after to tell me that it would cost £335 to fit a new tyre and that nothing was wrong with the wiper and that the MOT inspector wasn't around and they were understaffed 🤔 I told them they needed to improve their processes significantly. I will not be using them ever again because of their poor communication. As a multinational business, I'm sure they don't care if I never go back. They can afford to lose my custom. But if you are a small business owner with a service, can you afford to lose clients? If you don't have clear processes that dictate how you: - Communicate with clients - Deal with staffing issues - Deliver your service when capacity is an issue You are running the risk of losing clients forever and more importantly, gaining someone who will actively tell others not to work with you. Can you afford that problem? If you are a service business owner who: - Knows that your business back end is in dissaray - Wants to get more organised and drastically improve how you run your business - Wants to improve client experience, increase retention and referrals - Recognises the importance of systemising your business but doesn't know where to start DM me the word “Bootcamp”. The Build My Business Bootcamp will save you hours of time and £1000's of pounds by helping you to avoid costly and time wasting mistakes. It will help you develop clear and repeatable processes that your team can use to ensure they provide consistent experiences to your clients, even when things go wrong. Virtual Assistant | Helping Busy Founders, Professionals, and Executives Reduce Their Workload. |Consultant |
Missing deadlines? try this. Many people miss deadlines because they struggle to start in the first place. If a task feels too overwhelming, or you subconsciously dread the amount of mental effort and energy you will have to spend on it, we may end up missing the deadline to get this task done. Entrepreneurs have a lot of different balls to juggle, and sometimes it can be tough to keep everything in the air. Deadlines are one of those things that can easily slip through the cracks, especially if you’re trying to do too much at once. If you want to avoid missing deadlines, it is important to understand why this happens in the first place. Once you know the causes, you can take steps to prevent it from happening again and set yourself up for future success. Hence; 📌You miss deadline when you do not plan 📌You miss deadline when you are disorganized. 📌Many people miss deadlines because they struggle to start in the first place; thereby procrastinating. 📌When you are unable to focus 📌When you lack time to do the necessary tasks. If you want your business to succeed, it’s important to make sure that deadlines are front and center in your mind, and you’re well-equipped with all the knowledge and know-how to be able to meet them. With an experienced virtual assistant in your corner, missing deadlines can be a thing of the past. They can take care of the small details and tasks that can often cause big headaches, and their support can relieve the pressure from your days so you can focus on the bigger picture and carve out your path to success. Finding the best virtual assistant for your needs is crucial, and shouldn’t be left to chance. Happy new week. Have you ever missed a deadline before? My name is Chioma Anastacia and I'm your support system and productivity booster.

Why Simple Beats Complex... Here's what you should know. Have you ever tried to focus on work in a messy room? It can be tough, right? Plus, your mind keeps jumping from one thing to another, listing so many things that you could do at the moment to make the sight better. The same thing happens when there’s too much clutter in your life. Just last week, I was on a call with a distant friend who had a lot of important stuffs to get done and sought my advice on which one to ramp up first. He wasn't expecting the answer I gave him. Here's what I told him: “Declutter your options. When everything’s a priority, nothing really gets done.” Few words but that changed everything. Listen. When you simplify, you bring clarity. ...And the clarity? That makes everything easier, even enjoyable. You get to know the exact few steps to getting more things done for yourself. But here’s the catch—getting to ‘simple’ isn’t always simple. A lot of times, It takes effort to clear out the noise and clean up your thinking. As a business owner, you feel the pressure to meet with this, meet with a friend, and that's really amazing… but there are actually few things that drive the needle of your business, and identifying those things and sort of—going full throttle is where you & your business want to be at this time, whether it's improving on your product or service, creating offers to mulch the playing ground for sales, decluttering the sales cycle through the funnels to optimize faster conversions. At the start, you want to get the cash flow wheel turning and revenue generator on speed. Take Sarah, for example. As a busy mom who was working in an agency… She was always juggling a hundred tasks at once, trying to do it all. And she found herself constantly stressed and exhausted. Burnt out was closing in fast. Then after seeking the expert's counsel, she decided to change things up. She cut down her to-do list, ensured her morning routine was just under 90 minutes before she began the day and focused on just one thing at a time. The difference was like night and day. With fewer things on her plate, she found herself more focused, less stressed, actually enjoying her work and had some more family time. So here’s the key: just like I advised my friend, you want to really “Limit your options.” Yes, and When you do, you free yourself from decision fatigue. Forget multitasking—it only spreads you thin. Don't try to be complex or sophisticated. Simple does it. Focus on one thing at a time, and you’ll see just how much more you can get done. Remember, simple isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. If you're looking for how to do this faster, understand that… Everything can’t be a priority—so make sure the right things are. Find those three things and ignore the rest for some time. Cheers. 🍷 Your Friend, The High Value Man. Becoming One-Percent #BetterEveryDay with Richard Ekeng . I'm rooting for you, always.

Ever made a decision that felt right, but turned out to be a huge mistake? ⚠️ I started Neat by myself back in 2017 and quit my job the very next year. As the workload grew, I took on some help, but it was mostly me managing everything from my home office with the systems I built . I was my own boss, set my own hours, and had a balanced work-life. My business really started taking off in 2022 and early 2023. I decided to follow what other creative agencies do: I leased a local office and hired a team for social media, design, and project management. They were all extremely talented, driven, and a joy to work with. But this was one of the biggest mistakes I've made in 7 years of running my business. I forgot why I started in the first place - to have more freedom and spend more time with my family. I created an office job for myself, a 9-5 hellhole. I had tons of new jobs managing a team, putting out fires, addressing concerns, the list was endless. I started hating coming into work. My self-improvement routines went out the window. Projects started to drop, things took longer to complete, stress was at an all time high and finances took a hit for the first time in years. So, the biggest mistake of my business turned into the hardest decision I've had to make: letting my team go and reverting to how things were. We still have the office but use it only a couple of days a week for client and staff meetings. The team is half the size it was, and we're working on less complex projects. But I love my work again and how everything flows. Projects are completed with ease, and our current clients are a joy to work with. We have more clients on retainer than ever before and things are just easier. I'm back to working from home, with my routines and systems in place. I have time to read, learn, workout, walk the dog, play with the kids, and spend quality time with my fiancée. Life is good again. I've learned success isn't always about scaling and building a business doing millions a year. It's about having a business that works for me, not having a business I work for. We're doing our best work with less stress. That's real success for me.

Web Design + Digital Strategy For Innovative Brands & Businesses | Creative Partner | The Creative's Journal Podcast
Such a lovely post, and an even better thought prompt from my meeting with Kristina Gorr last week. Those meetings where you leave not only energized... but are left ruminating on how you can maximize these new ideas. How would you spend your time if money were no object?? By the way.. make sure you give Kristina a follow, and take the time/risk for spontaneous meetings with people who you barely know. At worst, you don't connect. But odds are... you'll walk away inspired. #marketing #freelance #webdesignfreelance
Crafting Stories To Captivate Audiences | Strategic Communications and Marketing Strategy for Data-Driven Business Owners
How would you spend your time if you had no obligations? I had a rare, in-person meetup with a new friend, Andy Milligan, last week. Amidst discussing business models and work/life balance, he mentioned this question as one that he's been reflecting on lately. I've thought about it every day since. Not because I don't know my answer (it's easy and obvious if you know me well), but because of the challenges I put in my own way to do more of what I love. I get caught in the trap of looking at what other business owners are doing and thinking I need to do the same. I have to remind myself that success looks different for me than for others. I don't need to spin my wheels trying to reach someone else's goals. And yet, it's very easy to compare myself to others and feel like I'm not doing enough. So I do more and then lose out on enjoying my success now. Since that meeting last week, I carved out time to work on a draft of my latest book. I don't want to wait until I have no obligations to do it (because it will never happen). Thanks for the inspiration, encouragement, and for taking the photo, Andy! 😃 Now it's your turn: how would you spend your time if you had no obligations?

Small business ownership feels like you’re always on, all the time. And that can be tough when the sun is shining bright outside, your kids are home from school, and you’d like nothing more than to be out and about than to be sitting at your desk. There’s only a limited number of these sunny summer days, right? Or, maybe it’s a little more emotionally-driven than that. Maybe this is the last summer your kiddo is home before they head off to college, or have a full-time job. The time counts just a little bit more than it usually does. No matter what the scenario, you deserve to spend more of your summer the way YOU want to—after all, isn’t that why we got into business? Here are a few extra ways I'm giving myself some more time this summer: 💡 Delegating to experts. As business owners, we often think that we have to do everything ourselves. But think about it: does that make…sense? Entrepreneurship is about fifty jobs rolled into one—you’re your own marketer, accountant, business development person, lawyer (okay, so I hope that last one isn’t true—if it is, you know I’m here). Delegation is a little bit of work on the front end, as you’re training someone to be comfortable operating your systems, but it does get easier. Consider the things you’re not crazy about doing as a business owner. Know you have to do your own newsletter and social media, but always procrastinate on it? Hire a great writer and strategist who gets to know you and your business and can do it for you. 💡 Implementing a summer schedule. Maybe you’re looking to take Fridays off. Maybe it’s a half-day. Maybe it’s shutting down at 2 pm three times a week because you want to take your kids to the pool. The key to successfully implementing a summer schedule is to make sure everyone knows about it. Email your clients and let them know about the schedule. If you have meetings already set up on those days, ask if they can be moved (they usually always can!). If taking a day or afternoon off during the summer just doesn’t work for where you are in your business right now, or the type of business you have, the next step is to establish a meeting-free day, and use that day to work ahead to the next week, or tie up loose ends from the current one. That way, you can go into your weekend relaxed and refreshed. 💡 Having a little “vacation” time every day. If those first two suggestions seem out of reach right now, it’s okay to start small. Can you get outside for an hour to take a walk? How about an hour in the morning to slowly drink your coffee and read a fun book? This is all about prioritizing what makes sense to you—and those tiny actions can make a difference. Here’s to a little more time for all of us! #Entrepreneurship #SmallBusinessOwner #Delegation #SummerHours
