10M+ Impressions I 100K+ Community | CEO of Re-Defined | LinkedIn TopVoice I Top 200 Global Women Leaders I Board of Director I 2xTEDX I Keynote Speaker I 50+ Talks I Featured in TimesSquare, CTV, CBC News
One of the common things you see a lot of successful people have is COMMUNITY The people around you dictate who you become whereby you are the combination of the 5 people around you So be mindful and selective of who you spend your time with because you may not realize now but your NETWORK today dictates the opportunities, resources and the REALITIES you get access to in the long term Some ways in which you can grow your network and find the right people: 1. By putting yourself out there: Attend at least 1-2 networking events a month so you are meeting new people and increasing visibility for yourself and the work you do. Networking will always start off as a quantity and then move to quality 2. Leveraging the current network you have: A lot of times we are too focused on finding new people to add to our network from external events but often times forget to leverage our current connections to form Future connections. Especially on linkedln, most of the connections of your 1st connection become your 2nd connection and so when you reach out to them, the likelihood of them accepting is a lot higher, making connecting a lot faster at least initially So, are you ready to start networking? If yes, I have a few opportunities for you: 1. Linkedln Local Meetup happening on July 3rd at One Eleven in collaboration with Re-Defined and DYPB. I will be joined by Brian Hughes CHRL, CEC, ACC and Bobby Umar Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/e7RN8AC7 2. Re-Defined 's International Student Hike & Connect meetup happening on July 14th, Sunday. You will be joined by peers and 1-2 professionals at the hike Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/dCeiHaSA 3. Pre-Departure Program: For all my incoming international student and immigrants, if you are looking to not just start networking earlier but also connect with industry experts, professionals, and peers and become familiar with market realities and insights, Sign up for this 1 month program towards end of July now: https://lnkd.in/dUnbEZRu Can’t wait to see you there!!! #students #networking #reality

Career & Life Coach for Expats: Empowering international professionals & partners to upgrade their life/career in every country they go to, so they can reach a new level & become happy + successful | Professional Speaker
Who else is planning to attend? 😀 Let's connect... Networking - that is, meeting new people and building relationships🤝 - can be quite fun! It's not about asking others directly for a job; it's about sharing experiences and exploring if we can help each other. If you usually dread these situations, ask yourself: what could make this interesting, fun or challenging for me? Maybe turn it into a game... 🎯 Ex: for every 3 people with whom I initiate a conversation, I get one extra slice of cake or 30 minutes of Netflix - whatever works for you, ideally healthy😅) #NataliaLealCoach #Networking #Expat #CareerGrowth #Success #Fun #Game

Be mindful and selective of your company and remember💡: Your #NETWORK today determines the opportunities, resources, and realities you’ll access in the long run. The people around you shape who you become. You're often considered the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Here are some ways to grow your network and connect with the right people: 1) Put Yourself Out There: Attend at least 1-2 networking events a month. This helps you meet new people and increase visibility for yourself and your work. Networking starts with quantity and evolves into quality. 2) Leverage Your Current Network: We often focus on adding new people to our network from external events but forget to leverage our current connections. On LinkedIn, your 1st connections' networks become your 2nd connections, increasing the likelihood of successful connections. Thanks Ritika Saraswat for this amazing insights! #ProfessionalGrowth #SuccessTips #CareerOpportunities #InternationalStudents #NetworkGrowth

One of the most significant challenges we, as international students, face is homesickness and feelings of loneliness. 😔 However, joining clubs and societies can make a world of difference. Here’s how: Build a Support Network: Connecting with people helps you build a strong support network. Make Friends: Finding people with similar interests can help you make lasting friendships. Feel More Connected: Participating in events makes you feel more connected and less isolated. If you're in Melbourne, Study Melbourne organizes meetups and networking events throughout the year. These are fantastic opportunities to connect and integrate smoothly into the local community. By becoming active members of these groups, we can create a sense of belonging and enhance our overall well-being while studying abroad. 😁 #internationalstudents #mentalhealth #studentswellbeing #wellbeing #studyabroad
