This has always been a big question for me. I wish I was taught from an early age at school about finances, simple things like bank accounts, how to save money in different ways, debts and taxes just general basic financial literacy. I do believe the younger generation are a bit more savvy now with these things especially with trading and the world going digital. What are your thoughts, do you agree with the below statement from our CEO Nigel?

I would argue to express emotions you have to be sentient. And do we really want to or can we even really create a sentient being with a mechanical process rather than human biology? The sentience of beings is unique to humans, why do you want to create something so inhuman as a replica or what I would consider a mockery of human biology? There will be a fight for hierarchy if AIs progress to sentience, it’s just what the world is and how it functions and since they’re based on animal and human behaviour then they will follow that pattern. I consider that very dangerous. But to say that AI can replicate human emotion is wrong because it won’t be replicating human emotion. It’ll be AI emotion. I think that’s what it comes down to, a photo is a photo and a painting of that photo is still a painting even if the images look exactly alike. They are innately different. So own your human emotion and don’t worry about AI competing with you because there’s no competition from it.

This sequence follows the natural order, akin to the control function in finance. In the realm of automation, standardization and process optimization reign supreme. Without them, robots would wander aimlessly, and AI would struggle to decipher our intentions. They are the guiding stars that illuminate the path toward efficiency and innovation.
