Can we talk for a moment about caregivers? Or more specifically, the wellbeing of caregivers. Caregivers' needs often go unaddressed, and there are so many reasons why. It's such an all-consuming role - the emotional toll of watching loved ones struggle is immense. Then there's the physical strain, not to mention the social isolation that creeps in. And let's not forget the financial stress that comes with it. It's tough because there's this lack of recognition, and support systems aren't really designed with caregivers in mind. Many feel guilty about taking time for themselves or don't even know where to find help. It's easy to lose your own identity when you're so focused on caring for someone else. Our healthcare system might overlook this topic, but our community certainly does not. If you're a caregiver, we want you to know you're not alone. We have a trusted space for you to join, where you can connect with others who truly understand what you're going through. https://lnkd.in/gcH2F9V4 #CaregiverCommunity #CaregiverConnection #CaregiverSupport

EXPENSES & EFFORT related to Caregiving: Approximately 5-7 million caregivers in the U.S. (about 15% of all caregivers) are long-distance caregivers. Such caregivers are more likely to report emotional distress (47%). Nearly 7 million long-distance caregivers make work and personal sacrifices. Long-distance caregivers have the highest annual expenses (about $8,728) compared to co-resident caregivers (about $5,885) or those who care for a loved one nearby (about $4,570). Parrots definitely will reduce these expenses and alleviate caregiving experiences drastically as a lot of caregiver responsibilities are tactfully handled by it even if the Caregiver is far away with highest level of accuracy of the Patient's actions, health changes. Every year on July 24th, International Self Care Day promotes self-care as a vital foundation of health. It’s also a day for people around the world to prioritize self-care and make it a part of their lifestyle. When you take care of yourself to stay well, you are practicing self-care. Staying well includes taking care of your whole self: physically, mentally, and emotionally. For some, self-care also includes taking care of themselves spiritually. So what exactly does self-care look like? It could be as simple as having some quiet time each day or having coffee with a friend. Self-care is especially important for caregivers. It’s easy for a caregiver to pour all of their time and energy into another person. Doing so eventually takes its toll. As the saying goes, “You can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.” https://lnkd.in/g9pKK6B2 #DenverMetro #DenverSeniorCare #COElderCare #COSeniorCare #DenverElderCare #SeniorCareAuthority #BeyondDrivingWithDignity #SeniorCareAdvocate #SeniorCare #ElderCare #SeniorAdvocate #AssistedLiving #SeniorLiving #Seniors #MemoryCare #Hospice #HospiceCare Senior Care Authority - Denver Metro
