Anyone that will be starting or has started summer learning in college courses, certifications, certificate programs or vocational studies I’m sending a big hug and prayer up for you. For all of us that can relate and appreciate the struggle of summer learning, we know that you have your head down while everyone else is enjoying activities. We know that you have long study nights after a day at the office. We know that having too much fun probably means you have some homework that you should’ve been doing instead 🤣 We know the endless assignments and deadlines creep up just when you thought you were ahead. We know the struggle between deciding to get a quick nap or doing that discussion post. We see all of it. You will not be forgotten this summer. Especially because I’m there with you entrenched in college courses and a Cornell University certificate program simultaneously. 💫Sending positive vibes your way💫 Tips to help you along your journey: Stay hydrated. Get sleep. Don’t forget to eat. Stay on top of your assignments to reduce last minute stress. Take frequent breaks in the midst of studying. If something you’re studying doesn’t make sense, come back to it later to give your brain time to process. If you can, build community or reach out to your fellow students to help each other understand the material. 📚 Balancing online courses and a full-time job can be a formidable challenge. With each course condensed into just 8 weeks, and currently taking on 2 courses simultaneously, I have learned from past experience that 4 courses at once was an arduous endeavor. By strategically managing my time, I have found that tackling 2 courses at a time is a more feasible approach, allowing me to maximize my learning potential. 🔑 The key lies in utilizing every available minute. It's astonishing how much can be accomplished through focused and uninterrupted deep work sessions, even if it's just 30 minutes at a time. 🎓 As I work towards completing my BA, I have created a visual representation of the remaining courses. This serves as a constant reminder of my goal, helping me maintain motivation and envision the light at the end of the tunnel. #discipline #lifelongstudent #motivation

Hey beautiful, Before I get started, there are some things that you need to keep in mind. #part1 The above is your grade sheet! Your grades are excellent. To make you understand better, here's a story of two students, one is an average student who scores 60%, starts solving problems, develops his practical skills, participates in various hackathons, etc. The other one is a topper who scores above 90%, but only focuses on studies and nothing else. Both of them sit for campus placements. Can you guess who got the job? Yes, the average student gets the job! Now, I agree that theoretical knowledge is equally important, in order to understand your practicals. When you're in college from day 1 to the last day, you need to keep improving your knowledge and skills each day. While your in college try to explore various things, experiment and learn new things. And mostly importantly, don't forget to enjoy your college life while doing these things! While your college focuses on theory, we'll focus on how to develop your skills. How? By doing industry relevant projects, solving problems, participating in hackathons, learning various tools or softwares, etc. Let's learn and do it together. Do you remember graduating school? 🤔💭 Remember last day of exams? That exhausted feeling, tired aching shoulders, but also that strange elation, that feeling of unbelievable freedom and emptiness - finished! No more exams. No more study. 😴 But also....a little nervous. Apprehensive. Slightly off balance... The exhausting yet comfortingly secure and social world of learning, school, study and structure... left behind. 💣It is a HUGE milestone in every persons life. Who we were at school, what we achieved, what we struggled with, and the journey of learning - it comes to an end. It is almost as if one identify is finished, its time to start afresh. For many - its the point in life where we 'grow up'. 😱 We are responsible for our ourselves. Our decisions. Our futures. And its daunting. Even more because, at the ripe age of 17, with little experience in the real world, how do we know what we're good at? How are we supposed to know what we ENJOY, or WANT to do? Most of us muddle along, make decisions, good and bad, and figure things out as they come our way. Something I've been passionate about for 6 years now, is coaching younger ones to find their career - what they're good at, where they can excel, what they LOVE doing. The vision was being able to offer young school grads, the chance to experience the different parts of the real world of business without being trapped into a job they may hate. Now, onto our 3rd intake of candidates - we are truly proud of our school grads and their success within the program. 👏 3-5 candidates join us each graduation for a 3 month bootcamp under the close tutelage of personal mentors, where they spend time in 4 different areas of business. They receive training seminars on different business topics, and have access to a pool of supportive team members and resources to learn everything they want to know. 🎉🎈 Coming to the end of the 3 month bootcamp for our 2024 class, our CC candidates have all excelled beyond what we ever expected! They will graduate the program, with the opportunity to choose a role in the area they loved and excelled best at wherein to continue their workplace journey.
