The chiefs of the world’s biggest mining companies are in Miami this week for one of the industry’s top conferences. There’s only going to be one subject on their minds: BHP Group Ltd.’s pursuit of Anglo American Plc. This deal has the potential to become one of mining’s biggest deals ever, reshape the sector and kick-start a whole new wave of M&A.
