During my last decade of teaching, I have learned one very important lesson as a teacher. Covering material is important but what is even more important is to make the lecture fun and Interactive! 🧑💻 Teaching didactics urges teachers to cover not more than 3 new topics per lesson, and further requires that students get ample breaks and exercises with the material. This ensures effective learning in a classroom setup. 📝📖 Below is the picture of my probability lecture from Introduction to statistics class, with a Kahoot at the end. I often see my classes getting excited for these kahoots (quiz), as it helps them feel accomplished and helps them measure their learning goals for a particular lecture! 📊📈📐 ICT in education is a game changer with many such interesting tools for student learning! What creative tools do you use in your classroom? Comment 👇🏼 below! #teaching #ict #kahoot #statistics #probability #learningjourney

In old times education was all about textbooks, classrooms, and teachers but now if we look for the most effective ways to empower students the words that come to mind are technology, feedback, imagination, participation, etc. 1. Decision-making power 2. Open feedback from students 3. Encourage meaningful technology 4. Involve students in real issues.
