Commitment, honesty and reliability will take you further then imaginable with your customer base. When you make a promise stick by it, tell the truth no matter how bad it is, do not take advantage of a situation, show up when you are supposed to especially when it counts most and if you can not communicate why and when you can.
Pictured here is one of my service trucks working on Kearny Fire Department’s Engine 4 at a 2nd alarm fire for an overheating issue. A repair was made and the apparatus was back in service under two hours from the dispatch of the service technician. This would be our 5th out of service call of the day.
1. Commitment to our customers that if you are in trouble, we are coming no matter the weather, time or day of the week.
2. Honesty that we made a temporary repair and further repairs are needed.
3. We proved our reliability that once the phone call was made by the Chief of the Department a Technician was on location within a half hour not putting further strain on the incident by getting the apparatus back in service.
Proud of this team at Hudson County Motors that makes me shine each and every time.
