What do #filmmakers really want from the #filmfestivals who are showing their films? Our second Town Hall for filmmakers and festivals took place at the Women X Film Festival last year. What took place was a candid discussion about what filmmakers want when they attend festivals with their work, versus what is available to festival organisers to make their stay as comfortable and productive as possible. The findings are a must-read for anyone in our industry. Check out the transcript on our Insight Blog. https://lnkd.in/eVQkBCXx

For those wondering what's happening in the Oklahoma film world, the Film in Oklahoma calendar is up and running! There you'll find what's happening in terms of film industry training, film festivals, networking events for filmmakers, and more! I know this calendar doesn't have everything just yet, but once you take a look at ALL that is going on to support filmmakers, you'll see exactly how invested the state is in this industry. For events that I've missed, there's a form to fill out so I can get it added. https://lnkd.in/g9jkzqRb

Dash helps teams quickly find what they're looking for, get fast answers from connected content, and save time with smart summaries. We put the casts of various feature films to the test, challenging them to describe their movies in just one word or sentence. Our word for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival?
