Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute’s Post

It’s official: the pandas are coming to D.C.! First Lady Dr. Jill Biden joined Smithsonian Institution Secretary Lonnie G. Bunch III and Dr. Brandie Smith, John and Adrienne Mars Director of the Zoo, to announce that by the end of this year, the Zoo will once again be home to two giant pandas. For more than five decades, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute has created and maintained one of the world’s foremost giant panda conservation programs. This historic moment marks our next chapter of panda conservation. Learn more about the #DCPandas: https://lnkd.in/erQxvj8q

We are so excited to bring giant pandas back to Washington D.C.! 🐼

That's good news. Glad the WWF, stuck with its logo too.
