Meet the 2024-25 Board: Ashley Di Cristina, Director at Large: Professional Development 🐻 How long you've been a part of SMPS, and what committee(s) have you been involved in? I've been involved in the Seattle chapter for five years and have volunteered on the Professional Development committee the entire time, now joining the Board as Director at Large of Professional Development. What do you hope to accomplish during your year on the board? Continuing to improve upon the foundation previous PD Directors began: • Getting the leadership program formulated and running. • Building upon Catalyst Conversations with new speakers and supporting people who want to grow in the public speaking realm. • Grow our Multiply mentors, specifically with senior mentors. • Support the CPSM program. What types of volunteers does your committee need? We need a couple of additional people to help execute our initiatives. Ideally, a co-chair/support for our MULTIPLY mentorship program, Roundtables, Catalyst Conversations program, and our research/leadership program. Three words to describe you! Resilient, resourceful, inquisitive. You can meet Ashley, the rest of the board members, and network with other SMPS Seattle members and future members at our kickoff! Join us on September 12, from 5:30–7:30pm, at P2S to celebrate our annual leadership transitions, learn about how you can engage with your chapter, and hear about the exciting events planned for the upcoming year.
