I updated my blog: I want to share today's devotional written by Billy Graham. "Only God Himself fully appreciates the influence of a Christian mother in the molding of character in her children. Most of the fine leaders of history have had good, God-fearing mothers. Thank You, Lord, for mothers who love You. Their influence is felt around the world." Serve without the spotlight The world is constantly hungry for recognition. Constantly pushing us to believe that our work, our service must be SEEN in order for it to be impactful. But as Catholic young professionals, if we look to St. Jude, we’re reminded that real impact doesn’t always come with applause. St. Jude was one of Jesus’ twelve apostles, yet was largely ignored due to people confusing him for Judas. Despite this, he later became the patron saint of lost causes, and his intercession has has offered comfort to many for centuries. So how can we be more like St Jude? 1️⃣ Pursue excellence in our work, even when it goes unnoticed. 2️⃣ Stay grounded in values that align with our faith. 3️⃣ Offer our talents in service, trusting that true fulfillment comes from God’s recognition, not just worldly success. Following St. Jude’s example helps us stay resilient, faithful, and humble—qualities that lead to lasting impact in ways we may never see. P.S If you are facing an impossible task, ask for St Jude’s intercession. #PursuePurpose #CatholicProfessionals #InspiredByStJude #FaithAndCareer #ServeWithPurpose #CatholicYoungProfessionals

MAY 25 BETTER THAN WINNING When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead, be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. PHILIPPIANS 2:3 NCV My Lord, l look to you to satisfy my need for justice and for righteousness. I know that you have my back and because of this, I can love anyone who mistreats me and I can humbly act when confronted with what I think is injustice. Help me to defer to your wisdom and treat others, especially those whom I think are intentionally treating me poorly, with a positive attitude. Help me to look for the positive possibilities in their actions, while I allow you to deal with their hearts. Unlike me, you don't judge by mere appearances but, instead, make right judgments. Help me to follow in your steps and put aside my own pride so l see things more clearly. How can the Holy Spirit help you to treat someone more humbly?

Merry Christmas! 🌲 🌲 🌲 🎁 🎁 🎁 The phrase "Merry Christmas" is a traditional greeting used to celebrate the joy, warmth, and goodwill associated with Christmas Day. Here's why it's commonly used: Historical Usage: The word "merry" historically meant more than just "happy"—it conveyed cheerfulness, festivity, and high spirits, making it fitting for such a joyful occasion. Cultural Tradition: The greeting gained popularity in the 16th century and was cemented into popular culture when Charles Dickens used it in A Christmas Carol (1843). Expressing Goodwill: It conveys a wish for others to enjoy the season's blessings, love, and togetherness, aligning with the Christmas spirit. Religious and Secular Connection: For Christians, it's a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. For others, it symbolizes a time of joy, giving, and unity. Wish you have a good time!
