As promised although somewhat delayed although I had a very good reason 🤝 I had the wonderful experience of becoming an Uncle! 🎉 I spent most of the weekend enjoying the company of the newest member of our family. 👶 Here's the part you came to this post for As you know I attended #DeliverCon2024, where we collectively shaped the agenda( hence the Un-Conference) and delved into pressing topics in delivery management! Embracing Neurodiversity: Learning how to foster a collaborative environment that respects and accommodates differing neurodiversity needs within teams was eye-opening. It's important to recognise that every individual's neurodiversity needs are unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Rather than making assumptions or generalisations, it's important to create spaces and foster a culture of consideration for everyone's needs. It's all about understanding and celebrating our differences. 🤗 2. Agile Alignment: Navigating the complexities of delivering agilely when governance processes aren't aligned requires creativity and adaptability. It's about finding that delicate balance between flexibility and structure. 🤔 3. Stakeholder Dynamics: Handling difficult stakeholders and building trust is crucial for successful delivery. Creating trust from the onset, bringing value to them, Transparency, communication, and empathy emerged as key themes in navigating these relationships. 💬 4. AI in Delivery Management: Exploring the potential of AI in our roles sparked thought-provoking discussions about the future of delivery management. Rather than fearing job displacement, we're embracing the possibilities AI offers to enhance our work. Upskilling is key as the next phase of our work will rely on it! 🤖 5.
