C3 Metals Inc. (TSXV: CCCM) Inc announced that additional drill holes at its Provost target at the Bellas Gate project in Jamaica have confirmed bornite #mineralization. It said drillhole PVT0825-001 (596.7 metres) intersected 280.7 metres at 0.37% #copper and 0.21 grams per ton (g/t) #gold (0.52% copper equivalent) from 227 metres, including 61.7 metres at 0.50% copper and 0.39 g/t gold (0.77% copper equivalent) from 446 metres.  C3 believes PVT0825-001 may have “clipped” the top of the bornite core of the porphyry system, with bornite, hypogene chalcocite mineralization, and potassic alteration confirmed at about 500 metres depth. It said the presence of bornite mineralization and potassic alteration corresponded with a spike in grades to 1.14% copper and 1.19 g/t gold (1.98% copper equivalent) over a 2.5-metre interval. 𝗜𝗚 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 Have steel production margins in China bottomed? Since peaking in Sep’21, margins have experienced a dead-cat bounce in 2023 before reaching a trough in Dec’23. There are several hints suggesting the year of the Dragon will coincide with a new steel cycle. Whilst the periodicity of the margins and short-term technical analysis on steel prices points at near-term improvements, there are also lower-frequency signals. For example, the multiplication of M&A and assets (temporary-)closure across the globe in 2H’23, or the accumulation of greenfield iron ore mining projects are also supporting structural margins improvement going forward. Emerita Provides Update on Ongoing Metallurgical Test Program Including 52.4% Zn Concentrate Grade at 84% Zn Recovery 🗞️ See the full news release here➡️ https://lnkd.in/g9YWGntq Highlights from our metallurgical test program 🔬 ⛏️IBW metallurgical test work was carried out by Wardell Armstrong in the U.K. and also commissioned by SRK Consulting to provide metallurgical oversight for Emerita. The goal is to demonstrate the production of commercial-grade concentrates with potentially economic recoveries for IBW. Preliminary results indicate successful production of commercial-grade concentrates using traditional methods, with recoveries comparable to other operations in the Iberian Pyrite Belt. Key findings include 🔑 : Zinc concentrates grading at 52.4% Zn with average zinc recovery of 84%, which exceeds reported results for mines in operation in the region. Copper-focused tests revealing the production of commercial-grade copper concentrates with recoveries similar to regional mines, along with payable levels of gold and silver. Potential to produce a Pb/Cu semi-bulk concentrate, increasing payable lead content and improving overall copper recoveries. COPPER PROJECT FOR SALE OR OPTION IN CANDA: Potential for major Copper deposit: Up to 15.8% cooper in localized highly mineralized zones 2 to 4 meters in length and 1 to 2 meters in width. 3 sets of channel samples over 14.5 meters returned 2.91% copper. 25 grab samples taken from 1 to 2 meter wide vien material over a 535 meter strike length averaged 5.417% copper (0.7 to 22.5%) Six (6) showings over approximately 4 kilometers Showing: St Julien's Four samples collected by Cooper in 2000 in the vicinity of the historic mine shaft returned values greater then 10,000pmm copper (which was the detection limit for the analysis requested)thus confirming the presences of copper mineralization. Work completed by Cooper in 2001 returned copper values ranging from 0.93% to 13.2% in samples taken from vein material located on the western shore of Great St.Juline's Harbour. Douglas (1940) - 80 tons of ore were reported shipped from the site in 1904.
