The #GoogleAds shopping network can seem like a 180 degree turn from search ads. Here are 5 considerations before advertising there: 1) Accurate tracking. It’s so important to have tracking set up right because much of your success depends on data. 2) First-party data. Modern digital advertising relies heavily on machine learning for targeting. The more data you can feed it the better. 3) Product feed. Your product feed is essentially your ad copy. Make sure it reads as such and is fully optimized. 4) Product page. Your ad gets people here but then it’s up to the LP to sell the product. Don’t cut corners. 5) Checkout Process. Try to have as little friction as possible so your customers can easily find their way to a conversion.
