❓💡How to rethink the funding of scientific careers? On 23 September, the SNSF organised a one-day workshop to discuss this issue with stakeholders (higher education institutions and early-career researchers). Following a co-creation approach, these reflections should enable the #SNSF to adapt its funding schemes to meet 21st-century challenges, while at the same time improving #working conditions for researchers in #Switzerland. A PhD thanks to Doc CH In spring 2024, a record 218 applications were submitted to the last Doc CH call. At the end of the evaluation procedure, the SNSF awarded 27 grants. Archaeology, psychology, philosophy, legal sciences and political economy are just some of the disciplines represented.
