What is your experience as a mechanical design engineer? Can you talk about your career as mechanical designer engineer? I am a junior student in mechanical engineering, and I’m a trainee mechanical designer engineer . Here’s my point of view: In designing as a engineer, you should consider so many things: size, price, manufacturing process, material, shape, and so on. You should be an engineer, do some calculations and read standards so that what you are designing is physically stable. You should also be a designer in the artistic way. Nobody likes a design that is ugly, or is not easy to work with. Designing is not easy and it’s not a routine task. Sometimes, you face some obstacles and you have to think a lot and have some creativity to find a way of overcoming them. I’m not saying that it’s too hard though. If you love challenges, designing, and engineering you probably enjoy this career a lot, and you even have fun doing so. Teamwork is also an important part of being a designer. For a design, you will talk to many people and get feedback from them. You will probably go to other factories and see designs similar to yours, and redesign your design again and again to improve it. You have to be a researcher, innovator, psychologist and a businessman on a small scale to be an excellent designer. But it’s fun, and if you love it, it’s worth doing it. You won’t get bored. I hope this has helped you. #nx #plm #mechanical #mechanicalengineer #design
