📢 Calling enterprising primary and secondary schools in Highland Council, Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar and Argyll and Bute Council! Social Enterprise Academy and Historic Environment Scotland have created an exciting opportunity for you to pitch an enterprise idea and win retail space for your product in Urquhart Castle’s Visitor Centre from August 2025! Register your interest and one of our team of social entrepreneurs will visit your school and deliver an interactive workshop to inspire ideas. We will also provide you with ongoing support and resources to help young people develop their product and pitch. Gaelic named or themed products are encouraged! This is a great opportunity to: 📈 Take part in our Social Enterprise Schools programme and maximise profit and social impact. 🗣️ Introduce young people to new business terms, ways of working, and skills which will be useful for them in future education and employment. 🤝 Engage with a national organisation and get your products stocked at a popular tourist destination. 🖊️ Register your interest by emailing rachelfarmer@socialenterprise.academy

Celebrating Young Changemakers in Dundee! 🌟 This week, five primary schools from across Dundee pitched their impressive social enterprise ideas to an expert panel at the Social Enterprise Schools: Dragons’ Den competition at the V&A Dundee 🐉 The Dragons’ Den event provided an opportunity for young people to design an item that would benefit the supporters of Dundee Stars Ice Hockey Club. With the support of the V&A Dundee, the young people received an input from Gary Jamieson, Schools Development Officer, V&A Dundee.
