Reacting to Matt Turck’s comment on winning 🥇 (link to post in the first comment) Honest questions: on LinkedIn, is there more VC related communication than product related communication? Could someone find out from insider sources at LinkedIn? Imagine if VCs no longer competed for gold on social media, but rather left more airspace to their portfolios (in the aggregate); would that change the game? After all coaches and sponsors get $ and pride without getting the medal directly. In other words: should VCs get the spotlight or should they recede in the back office? Unless social network algorithms are perfect at creating an echo chamber and isolate the communities? Or are VCs only communicating to outcompete other VCs or deliberately to shape the market to match their thesis?
