Social Capital was proud to be a corporate sponsor for such an amazing event!
🙏🏽 AFA’s volunteer Professional Leadership Council held its first annual “Making Memories Fall Social” last week at The Blond at 11 Howard in New York City. 🩵 Founding member Brett Cohen and wife Julia Cohen were the evening’s honorees for their commitment to helping families impacted by Alzheimer’s. It was their personal experience with Julia’ grandfather, Marty, who is living with Alzheimer’s, that brought the couple to the Council. ⭐️ “This is a very special night for us--not just because we are supporting a great cause and honoring great people, but because it’s the first time as a council we are putting on an event like this,” remarked Matt Solomon, Leadership Council chair and founding member. More than 150 guests attended the sold-out “Making Memories” event and raised more than $60,000. We are grateful. 🤝 AFA’s Volunteer Leadership Council was founded to empower a new generation of AFA advisors and ambassadors. Through special fundraising events, awareness campaigns, focus groups, and partnerships, the Leadership Council brings to life AFA’s mission beyond its walls. #alzfdn #alzfoundation #alzheimer #dementia #brain #volunteer #cognitive

It was a great turnout at the NYC AFA walk this past Sunday. Thank you to all who came out and braved the elements. The Social Capital team raised over $4,800 for the event, well exceeding our goal! Thank you, team members, and everyone who donated to the cause. #walkinthepark #AFA
