TikTok has significant progress to make in safeguarding personal information within the United States. TikTok, the wildly popular short-form video app, has been making waves in the United States, but it still has a long way to go when it comes to protecting personal data. With over 100 million users in the US alone, concerns about data privacy have been on the rise. Despite its immense popularity, TikTok has faced scrutiny from lawmakers and regulators over its handling of personal information. In recent months, numerous reports have surfaced revealing the app's questionable data practices. From collecting and storing user data without proper consent to sharing data with third-party advertisers, TikTok's privacy track record has been less than stellar. These revelations have raised serious concerns about the safety and security of users' personal information. As more and more people use TikTok as a platform to express themselves and connect with others, the need for robust data protection measures is paramount. It is essential for TikTok to take a proactive approach in safeguarding its users' personal data and addressing the growing concerns surrounding privacy. Only then can the app regain the trust and confidence of its user base and ensure a safer online environment for all. Written by (FR) Zacharie Tazrout read more here https://buff.ly/42kHdEo

https://lnkd.in/gNTpnRWa Hello National Privacy Commission! By any chance, do you also take measures to test public agencies' compliance on Data Privacy? After all the breaches, and the Philippines allowing a Chinese alien #aliceguo to change identity and run for public office as Mayor to later establish POGO.. don't you think you need to test the Data protection of our public agencies as well? 🙂 Or is it only enough that public agencies only publish a Data Privacy Policy on their website.

🌟 The Hidden Dangers of Social Media: Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies 🌟 Social media connects us, but lurking behind the convenience are severe concerns about user terms & conditions and privacy policies. 🔍 Key Issues: Complex Language: Legal jargon makes understanding what we agree to hard. Extensive Data Collection: Platforms gather vast amounts of personal data for advertising, often without explicit user consent. Lack of Transparency: Users are often unaware of how their data is used or shared. Data Breaches: Frequent breaches put personal information at risk. Limited Control: Users have minimal control over their data and privacy settings. 🔑 What We Need: Simplified Policies: Easy-to-understand terms & conditions. Transparency: Clear information on data usage and sharing. User Empowerment: Better control over privacy settings and data opt-out options. Enhanced Security: Strong measures to protect user data. 🌍 Call to Action: For a safer digital environment, let’s demand greater transparency and control over our data. #Privacy #DataSecurity #SocialMedia #UserRights #Transparency #DigitalSafety #TechResponsibility #Innovation #DataProtection #Wikolo #UserEmpowerment #SafeSocialMedia #EthicalTech
