NEW BLOG! ❓ What does it mean for research to be trauma-informed? ❓ Are we all speaking the same language when we refer to a ‘trauma-informed approach’? ❓ What might this look like in practice? Dr Dr Wendy Asquith and Dr Bethany Jackson blog on three key takeaways from a recent workshop on trauma-informed approaches to research. 1️⃣ All six elements of a trauma-informed approach need equal attention. 2️⃣ One-size-fits-all solutions fall short 3️⃣ We can be creative when developing safe, supportive spaces for research engagement. 👇 https://lnkd.in/eCMV9q7j

Today, I attended an insightful webinar on the Cochrane Qualitative Methodological Limitations Tool (CAMELOT) led by Heather Menzies Munthe-Kaas. The session explored the tool's development, application, and its role in enhancing the relevance of systematic review findings. CAMELOT is a groundbreaking tool designed to address methodological limitations in qualitative research. During the webinar, we had the opportunity to look into its development process and explore a practical example of how it can be effectively applied.

It was a great workshop on how quality listening can promote human flourishing! Such an important skill for developing relationships and conflict resolution. It is why I include training in quality listening for the #Leadership program on #Negotiations at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. With none other than Guy Itzchakov himself. #humanflourishing #listeningskills
New ideas on increasing human connection and reducing polarization were sparked when listening researchers had the chance to practice what they study. The Interpersonal Listening & Human Flourishing workshop, hosted by Guy Itzchakov and Netta Weinstein, took place at the first Global Flourishing Conference. ▶️ To watch the full video and read more about Guy and Netta’s research into listening, visit: https://lnkd.in/eMimAFmC
