We're so pleased to have contributed to the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) new collection of case studies: "Speaking up for science and the environment". The collection takes readers through the policy process, identifying how we can effectively engage with environmental policy at each stage. In our case study, we explore how our interdisciplinary Soils and Stones project brings together current and aspiring registered environmental professionals, united in calling for the value of soil and stone resources to be fully recognised within Government policy. We discuss the project's successes to date, as well as our key learnings/ advice for others when aiming to raise the profile of a pressing environmental issue for policymakers. You can view our case study attached to this post and make sure to check out the full publication on the IES website ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gkdvjyi6 With thanks to Joseph Lewis for bringing this excellent publication together! #soil #soilsandstones #SILOtoSOIL
