A long Journey for CT001, including four clinical trials, have now culminated with the development of a unified pediatric-adult model. Fantastic collaborative approach, thanks to all involved! Key Takeaways: ➡ The pain relief estimated for CT001 would be difficult to obtain with sufentanil alone in children and would likely require more than double the sufentanil exposure. Increasing sufentanil or ketamine exposure could lead to side-effects like respiratory depression or hallucinogenic effects. ➡ The simulated pain reduction in children using CT001 was 87% (76%/92%) with a 95% CI for n=37. In comparison, sufentanil alone showed 52% (34%/65%) pain reduction, ketamine alone showed 32% (12%/47%), and placebo showed a 10% (1%/20%) increase. #PediatricCare #PainManagement #ClinicalResearch #PKPD
