Yesterday's announcement of the Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale 261 results revealed that 26 companies participated, successfully bidding on 311 blocks, cumulatively amounting to an impressive total of $382 million. Of all the successful bids, 105 were made on acreage covered by TGS' wide azimuth and/or Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) datasets, accounting for a significant 56% of the total bid amount. In collaboration with SLB our modern, long-offset OBN data covers 61 blocks that received bids. We're proud to see how this game-changing subsurface imaging continues to help drive exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. Unfortunately, a common workflow for acquiring seismic that we see is: 1. A company wants to acquire seismic 2. The company gets a cost estimate 3. The company gets regulatory approvals 4. The seismic is acquired Why is this the WRONG way to acquire seismic??? The Answer: How do you know if the acquired seismic will satisfy the clients imaging objectives? A CRITICAL COMPONENT of this workflow is missing... SEISMIC SURVEY DESIGN AND MODELING

𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙪𝙨 𝙊𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙚𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝘾𝙎 𝙈𝙈𝙑 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙮 𝙞𝙣 10 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨? I am presenting an e-poster for it at 𝗚𝗛𝗚𝗧-𝟭𝟳 and will give the highlights at lightning speed. This follows work done by myself, Eric Street, Graham Hack of Carbon Alpha, and Jason Schweigert and Matthew Allen of BJV Design Inc. The whole idea of Theseus is to consider what seismic needs to be done in onshore carbon storage monitoring. This includes a re-examination of seismic imaging areas, an integration of 2D and 3D seismic, and a critical look at the differences between onshore and offshore carbon storage. My presentation will be on Wednesday October 23, from 2:00 to 2:11 in the C1 e-poster area on the exhibitor floor of the Calgary Telus Convention Center. Slashing turnaround time for data transfer. PGS has just completed our first MultiClient project where we successfully transferred all seismic data from a Ramform Titan-class vessel to onshore via satellite. This groundbreaking achievement proves the feasibility of the technology, significantly accelerating the delivery of raw seismic data from vessel to imaging, and ultimately enabling faster turnaround times for subsurface characterization. It was great to represent the Ocean Infinity and Geowynd team at the 7th International Conference on Geotechnical and Geophysical Site Characterization presenting an overview of one our latest geotechnical innovations.
