Amid the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, I spearheaded an online protest in solidarity with the #MilkTeaAlliance #Indonesia to support the people of #Myanmar facing the aftermath of a brutal #MilitaryCoup d'état. As we approach its fourth year this February, the question lingers: Is there still hope for action from the #InternationalCommunity? It's imperative that we re-evaluate our approach and focus on garnering broader support. Engaging in meaningful dialogues and advocacy with various stakeholders in #Myanmar –activists, groups, women, youth leaders, #Peacebuilders, individuals from every ethnic background, and minority communities– is crucial. Emphasizing the essence of genuine south-south solidarity, promoting trust, and embracing inclusivity through translocal solidarity are key aspects of fostering a #GrassrootsSolidarity movement that unites global communities in pursuit of #Truth. While the landscape of #GlobalPolitics continues to evolve, our commitment to progress remains unwavering. The increasingly taboo topic of #unification or national unity. While in #Albania the attachment to national unification remains stable or even increases, in the Republic of #Kosova this dynamic has decreased by 15% under the #Kurti #government, imbued with a strongly Kosovar-centered orientation and tinged with a certain latent provincialism... The distance between #Tirana and #Prishtina seems to have grown unprecedentedly since Albin Kurti came to power. It seems that this government has invested heavily, both symbolically and emotionally, in a Kosovo-centric vision. This has marginalized many individuals who now see themselves as anonymous, voiceless "#Newborns".  The question of national unification has never been so taboo. Since Albin Kurti revealed that Kosovo's constitution does not allow for such an aspiration.  The project of (possible) national unity is now considered closed.  It has become a taboo subject both within the government and the opposition, as well as within Kosovo Albanian society. However, this taboo is destined to be broken again, this dossier is bound to be reopened!

As discussions around the democratization of China gain momentum, the recent conference in Berlin saw participation from diverse voices, including Sangay Kyab, advocating for democracy and paving the way for Chinese citizens to experience the freedoms many take for granted. 🎙️ Reflecting on history, Tibetans have continuously faced challenges in preserving their identity and rights, a narrative sadly echoed in the experiences of the Uyghur community and others under Chinese authority. This conference poses critical questions for us all: - How can international communities amplify their support for these marginalized voices? - What role does diplomatic engagement play in catalyzing real change? These discussions aren’t just political—they are human. They require our awareness, our voices, and our action. The liberation of Azerbaijan’s lands highlights both our resilience and the injustices of history. İrəvan, a historical Azerbaijani city, served as the administrative center of the Erivan Khanate, a significant part of Azerbaijan’s history and culture. For centuries, Azerbaijani people faced systematic policies of ethnic cleansing and persecution. Entire communities were uprooted during the 19th and 20th centuries, leaving behind their homes, culture, and history. This tragic legacy is a reminder of the strength of our people and the importance of safeguarding our historical narrative. The Western Azerbaijan Community is committed to advocating for the peaceful, safe, and dignified return of Azerbaijanis to their ancestral lands.
