🚇Fornebu Metro Line – Constraint Effects in Waterproof Tunnels The constraint effects due to shrinkage are usually approached by simplified rules of experience or formulas on standards, which provide a minimum reinforcement to control the cracking. These approaches are not adequate nor optimal when facing complex geometries, which are also affected by other loads, such as high water pressure. This motivated Raul Rodriguez Fajardo, at COWI, to approach the problem of the constraint effects by using area models in SOFiSTiK with a non-linear material.   🎞 https://lnkd.in/gGFUctMt   🗣Presented by Raul Rodriguez FajardoCOWI AS, presented at the #SOFiSTiK User Conference 2022 in Oslo 📁Slides 👉https://lnkd.in/g2U9_V9E
